Lives up to the comfort rating advertised!
My husband works at Sam's club in the subzero freezer, he needed a boot to keep him comfortable, with ankle support, and that is water proof. These boots (KEEN Utility Men's St Paul 6" Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boots) meet so many positive necessities, the boots are attractive and check all the boxes, amazingly comfortable, and have great support for standing all day.WARNING: Unfortunately the boots are "NOT" slip proof when on a wet and slippery surface. This boot on a normal concrete surfaces is perfect! However, when walking on a wet frozen surfaces, concerns for safety is to be considered. Please be aware with concern, you need to consider the boot tread is like being on ice skates when working in a subzero freezer. Since I was determined to make sure my husband was safe as well as comfortable, I added a "no slip spike-less cleat" to his shoe. Now he has a boot that meets all his needs. We decided not to give the boots a bad rating since wearing the boot in a freezer isn't a normal circumstance, we didn't feel it would be fair to rate the boots negatively. I hope my review truly helps someone, I spent many hours searching for the right product for my hard working husband. I too rely heavily on reviews like mine to help choose the right product. :)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FCXWX27/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Poor quality, started falling apart within a month
Bought these at the end of January for my electrician husband. His work boots normally last 18mo or so. These started falling apart in month 2 (when the pictures were taken). They were completely unusable by June. This is the worst pair of work boots he says he's ever had and that's saying something considering he's done this work for 17 years. They are also one of the pricier pairs he's had, which just goes to show pricey does not mean quality when it comes to this company. We are now going back to the Carhart Force boots, though pricey themselves, he says they have been by far the best (he's actually back to wearing his old worn out pair after these Keen work boots failed. This is the second pair of keen shoes that disappointed us as far a s quality (though the other was not work boots).

Best boot Keen has made in years
I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to boots and shoes. So when I tell you this is a legitimate boot, please listen! I've worn Keen boots for years, and their quality has scared me over the past couple of years. It seems like they're getting back on track though with this one! It is extremely comfortable, just the right height in my opinion as I don't like a sneaker but don't want an 8" either. The construction seems to be very well put together and durable. Thank you Keen for making something better! I normally wear a size 9 to 9.5 in Keen work boots and I wore a size 9 in the St. Paul. This is an honest review from someone who purchased the product.

Tough to break in and the soles wear out quickly
I am on the fourth and probably last pair. I was never able to reproduce the satisfaction I had with the first pair I bought ,(6 years ago) the quality went down from that initial purchase . The boot takes a LONG time to break and in and yet the soles wear out quickly. Keen purchases are usually better with quality than this boot. Will not buy again

Solid boots... at first.
Update: can’t even get a full year out of them. At around 6 months I noticed the wear and tear. From then on it was one thing after another. Was hoping to make it a full year but unfortunately cannot. Loved how they felt but wish they lasted longer.Original review:So far so good. About a month in and comfortable but a little heavier then i expected with is being carbon toe. Still solid boots

Awesome in all aspects!
Truly watwrproof! Look and feel great! Already was a Keen believer, my only gripe was that it was hard to find Keen boots that were my "style" - problem solved with these! I see more of these in my future - which won't be for close to a year or more if these hold up like the rest of my Keens have.

Lightweight / Light Duty
I really like how these boots feel and look. I am getting questions from people in my field when they see them they like them too. So far there are no issues with the construction of these boots. The lacing system works good and feels secure. The comport level is 7-8 out of 10, I can wear them all day but I believe a better insert would improve this, as my feet do get tired after a 8 hours of work.UPDATE::This is a 10 month boot for heavy construction. The pictures I uploaded are a little over one year of use they are disintegrating now, for what I paid I would expect a little bit more with the soul of the boot other than that they’re still comfortable. This boot is now becoming dangerous with the whole sole delaminating. I have to discard now. I do not recommend this boot anymore.

doesn't fit like their other boots
have had more than 6 pairs of keen Hikcing boots and hiking shoes over the last few years. Always wear an 11.5 M, and they always fit well. But every pair of work boots that I've bought with a steel to where too big. Bought ones with compression toe and low and behold too big also. Returned and exchanged for 11M and they where fine in length but too narrow in the ball of my foot and toe area. Two times is all you get tried another boot and sent these back
