Q: Does it have usb port on it’s charger ? as I need to charge my phone at the same time

Sorry I had a friend fit it for me so I'm not too sure, all I was told that it had to be connected to the reverse lights

Q: Can this be used without the rear camera?

Yes. Just don't plug it in. It will record front only. I have a problem with mine. It won't continuously record. It fills the SD card and then stops recording till I reformat the card.
