This is a very sturdy material, built to hold a heavy book. I tested my "Legend of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Building A Champion" 408 page slightly over 9 in by 12 in book. This thing holds that super heavy book just fine, although I do wish it gave a little bit better support for the binding in the middle.It comes coated in a film that you would remove once you are ready to display it in your library/ book area. This not only is a scratch prevention, but it's a good dust prevention while waiting to use it.My only complaint is the way that the feet are designed. It seems that the cut went the opposite direction that it should have. This causes the stand to sit on the pressure points of the tip of the wedge. You can't assemble the stand in the opposite direction or it sits like a letter. V, which is impossible to use since it would hold the book nearly shut. The tips of the book support segment have a vertical edge to them, which is fine and more fitting. I just think that they should cut the opposite side the other direction so that the tip runs horizontally and therefore has more contact with the surface it is sitting on and wouldn't cause any pressure points or scratches as easily.Aside from this future design suggestion, I am very satisfied with the quality and ease of assembly.

Very sturdy, this beautiful book stand makes the book the focus of the display, not the stand.The only potential negative is that I do wish there was a tilt to the base so that you don't have to be close to see what pages the book is open to. As it is, this is best for lower-level shelves or viewing from the top down.

Pros:- Acrylic is thick, sturdy and clear white- Once setup, it's sturdy (not flimsy)- Comes with a sticky tape on the outside that you peel back (which prevents it from getting scratched)- Holds smaller and larger books- Really cool aesthetic - very modernCons:- Not necessarily a con, but when you setup, just make sure you are holding the two pieces at the angle shown in the photo (for how it's setup) because otherwise it won't fit together

This acrylic book stand is very sturdy, lightweight and looks expensive! Use it as decoration, a table setting or in the kitchen for a cooking book .

Came nicely packaged and boxed inside a box. Easy installation and easy setup. You just connect them to make the stand. The acrylic is thick and very durable and clear as pictured. I however didn’t use this as a book stand which I may do in the future. I use it as a handbag stand and does work for me as a display for the handbag I’m carrying for the day/week! It is large and will hold a lot of items but especially a book. I recommend and have no cons.
