Does what it says. We filled it with water from the pool and it went together easily. I would prefer them to be a little taller to have more volume and thus weight. Even using sand it's not as heavy as I'd prefer, but they advertise the weight so that's not a negative on them. Let's see how it holds up to the sun long term.

Good support for umbrella.

Bought a few of these. Once the water and umbrella are in it, the bottom scapes on our pool deck. There is a metal plate on the bottom that then rusts onto your patio. Kept them only because my husband is quite handy and was able to rig up a way to raise the height. Lots of work, but now works well. A basic design flaw that our older umbrella stand does not have.

This umbrella holder is perfect for my needs. I wanted something waterproof because I use it by my pool. The bolts are metal and could probably rust but I’ll deal with that down the line if needed.It is very easy to assemble. The vertical part comes with two plastic adapters to fit different diameter poles. It holds my umbrella snuggly and balanced. It’s been rained on and splashed on and still looks great. I do t trust it, at 25lbs, to hold the umbrella if it were open in a wind so I always close the umbrella and move the whole thing to an alcove when wind kicks up. It’s heavy but not so heavy as to make moving it a problem. I could also roll it if I wanted to. Very nice stand.

This was a breeze to put together. I had it up and installed within 4 minutes, and it took just a bit more time to fill it up with water. Will update with photos soon, but I'm very pleased with the quality and value of this base. Would buy again.
