Good crois platform controller for the price but very opaque instructions
The English instructions are really hard to follow and occasionally wander into Chinese, the type is so tiny I had to get out a magnifying glass to read it in places. Much squinting and puzzling later...Android: I started off just pairing the controller in the normal way - which turned out to be a bad idea, there was no way to map the controls on android without rooting the device. More squinting at the instructions - finally worked out one needs to install Shooting plus v3 app in advance and then start pairing with the device turned off then pressing the B key with the home key for 2 seconds, then in android Bluetooth dialogue select S03 from the list of devices and not the controller. This apparently magically sets the map for the game you're trying to play. Bit of a faff but it works.Steam on Ubuntu 22.10: still haven't got this to work, will squint and fiddle some more. Had to install an xbox driver on Linux to get Steam to see the controller at all. Now it will pair and control the Steam platform interface beautifully over Bluetooth but not the actual games. Steam isn't letting me map the controls. Game is Identifying it as an xbox controller but ignoring the controls. I did follow the instructions for Bluetooth on a PC carefully this time 🤔I'm wondering if the problem is that I'm running windows games on Steam platform Proton emulator and it's just not gonna work or if I'm still failing to interpret the instructions correctly. I'll try it on wired connection which the instructions say with automatically map keys.Well, it's very pretty and works fine on android. I'm happy enough - but the instructions really are an assault course and I've yet to get it to behave on Linux.
