Tested it out with a little air freshener. Could still smell it through the sides of the mask.

After reading and researching masks and looking around on Amazon and other websites this was a great value came with the necessary equipment I purchased a secondary better filter. the mask itself fits good it feels great to the face it is made of good quality materials I definitely would purchase this set up again

Gas Mask, Full Face: This mask is well made and fits my face. Filters that attach to the mask have their filtering capabilities printed on them so I can use the right filter for the situation. The single filter that goes in the lower middle part of the mask is a threaded screw in. The two filter packs that attach near the corners of the mouth are twist to lock (about a 60 degree twist). A pack consists of the black back, the filter cartridge, the cotton filter and then the clear slotted cover. The black back and one end of the filter cartridge are threaded together and the clear filter cover is friction fitted over the cotton filter and filter cartridge. When attaching these twist to lock filters, I found it useful to first install the black part of the filter pack onto the mask. That gives a clear picture of the alignment needed and the direction of the twist to lock the back in place. Then add the other pieces of the pack.With the air intakes covered, I held the mask up to my face and inhaled. That created a vacuum to test the seal. The seal/fit is very good under certain conditions: 1) clean shaven. I have a short beard and the mask lost the vacuum because the seal on the mask was not in contact with my skin. It was a slow lose of vacuum which might not be a problem with the air intakes with filters installed. 2) no eyeglasses. Eyeglasses will open the mask seal near my temples. I feel the mask would be ineffective if eyeglasses were worn.I did not find any instructions so I printed all the pictures and text in the Amazon ad for future reference.

Perfect for the oilfield. The silicone design is durable, it's reliable against gases, chemicals, etc. I appreciate the 1-year warranty, this item gives me a lot of peace of mind. For the quality, it's a good choice.

Fits great and adjusts to the sizing you need.Takes your average size filter, and doesnt seem too bulky after its all assembled.Suction, to ensure a tight fit is very good actually, just dont do it too tight to cut off circulation.A++

Shipping was good and quality was better than I expected. Everything works (the clasps and seals) just make sure you're shaved up for a tight seal. Good bang for buck
