Stretch Velvet Knit Dark Gold Fabric By The Yard

This fabric is lovely. The weight, quality, drape and stretch are perfect for my dress. The color is exact to the description provided. The piece was cut exactly and neatly folded. The price was excellent (not only was zero fabric resembling this available at the only mega-conglomerate "fabric" store around, I'm sure it would've been double or triple the cost if there). My thanks to the vendor and Amazon!

I love everything about this fabric! The color is rich, the quality is excellent... it's thick and sturdy with a nice stretch and is soft/smooth to the touch. As you can see in the picture, it has the prettiest, glossy sheen. I absolutely love it and will be buying more!

I found this fabric when I was searching for a small amount of upholstery fabric in a bright gold color. I had my doubts about it because it was a stretch fabric. Still it listed upholstery as one of its uses, and I knew that I could stabilize the stretch with good fusable interfacing. Plus the color looked to be spot on. So I bought it. The first good thing I can tell you about it is that it arrived a lot earlier than promised. In these days when everyone is ordering online and many overseas shipments are still stuck in ports, that's amazing. The second good thing I can say is that it's absolutely gorgeous fabric with a beautiful luster and a brilliant gold color. It also has a great hand and drape for garment sewing. My only problem with it is that it should never have been listed with the upholstery fabrics. It's way too light and will still be way too light even with a fairly heavy interfacing. So it's not at all suitable for my project. However, if you're looking for a fabric for a winter formal or even just a dressy top, grab it. I think you'll love it.

My first order got lost in the mail so it took about a month to get everything squared away but I didn’t need it right away so it all worked out. The company sent it again and it arrived quickly the second time. The material was the perfect gold as pictured. It has the velvet feel and was just what I needed for my upholstery. And at 6 and change a yard it’s a great deal.

What is there to say? This fabric is the perfect color and texture for the Star Trek costume I needed to make. With it, I was able to portray Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise for Halloween - both at work and at home! It made for a fantastic conversation piece at work, and it impressed the kids while I was handing out candy. It was delivered promptly, with no hassle, and the dye of the fabric matches the screen image perfectly. You get exactly what you pay for, which is a joy.

I used this fabric for H patch appliqué and it’s looks amazing! The fabric feels like high end.. bold color, no fraying! I will buy this again in different colors!

I reupholstered a Victorian with purple velvet and had one small section to do left this fabric went beautifully with it , worked awesome with upholstery materials ! Awesome price too

First off over 2 weeks late, seller said got lost. UPS said they never even received the material to send. Said they would resend ASAP. Then 4 days letter they sent me an email asking if I still wanted it ? What happened to the ASAP ?. The material looks like PEA SOUP, not at all like the picture. 104" of the fabric had a 1/4 bare line right through the middle of the fabric. Plus I couldn't use it for the curtains.. I needed 58 wide panels.. add says it is 60" wide.. Lied. material is only 56" wide so that meant I would have to order more material ( NOT HAPPENING ). plus a good 11" top and bottom of the 9 yards total 22 " was wasted because both ends looked like they gave a 3 year old a pair of scissors to cut it with. when folded each end was a good 11" from center to edge. These people shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves sellers, more like serial ripoffs. Order at your own risk and loss of money.
