Stretch Velvet Knit Hunter Fabric By The Yard

I wish the shipping cost wasn't more than the cost of the fabric, but it was quick shipping. The color is as shown. I had no problelms with the order. I was hesitant of purchasing fabric online not knowing how it truly looked and felt. But this is actually so gorgeous I will order more in this color and some other colors also. I was not able to find anything like this in the fabric stores and the price is the lowest I have seen. I have thought of a hundred more ways I can use this for because it is so awesome. It really is beautiful I love it! I am very impressed and very happy.

I bought five different colors of this fabric for a Christmas project. The colors are rich, the fabric is stretchy, and it was perfect for my project. I'm not sure I would recommend it for clothing unless it's lined, as it's a little thin. I used it for covering styrofoam balls to make vintage ornaments, and the stretchiness really worked well.

Quality of fabric seems fine however I would describe the color as emerald green not hunter green. Not exactly the color u had hoped for but I'll make it work.

Feels very luxurious

I saw some people asking if it’s x amount of separate yards or one long piece of fabric if you order more than one. I got one 5 yard measured fabric when I chose the quantity of 5. I sewed a double papasan seat from it and it came out beautiful. It’s just the right amount of stretch without it feeling cheap. I needed some stretch for a practice next like that - perfect. I bought blindly and I was so happy with it.

I bought this fabric to make a throw for my living room to use during the Fall and Christmas holidays. Green throws are not easily found. Red throws are widely available, but I have enough. I haven't actually sewn this item as yet. My plan is to double the fabric so that the throw is the same on both sides. I am still deciding whether or not I want to use a thin filler on the inside to stabilize the stretchy nature. So far I am liking it. 😊 Oh. And just to mention, I threw the fabric into the washer and dryer first thing. It washed and dried beautifully. I avoid fabrics that can't be laundered.

Fine fabric except a dark line runs across the entire width of the fabric. Can't return. Noticed it after i cut the fabric. Very disappointing.
