After rinsing, I put inside the filter box and it works great making the water Chrystal clear

I kinda wish the crystals were a little bigger, but it does what it says it does. I have a 40 gallon tank with a lot of wood. Water became dark brown, even after allowing the wood to seep; the water is now a light tea color. I integrated the activated carbon into the filter and the water stays relatively transparent/light brown. I just have to replace/rinse the carbon once every few weeks or every other month. Really happy with the purchase overall.

Granules removed aquarium odor but the bag is so little only 1/3 c aka 3 oz fit so I had to change out same day.Fine mesh bags black zipper 3x4 bags that are offered in tons of posts are NOT fine enough for granules.

The company, Aquatic Experts, doesn't seem to be just a thrid-party vendor but actually cares about the stuff it sells.

Took a long time to rinse dust out of carbon. A lot of the carbon fit to the fine mesh. Company worked with me to remedy the issues.

I replaced all the charcoal in the filter and hops it help the fish breath better

Updating my review and two-star rating. I'm changing rating from two stars to three because I found the bag. Was stuck to the outside of bag and I just didn't see it. Still very dusty and tiny particles. Needing more than one bag I had to purchase more fine mesh ones, and they work well.
