I purchased this item to replace the unit on my John Deere X320 which had worn out. This item fit perfectly and works as it should. For the price it's a bargain and saved me money on dealer parts as well as installation.

Perfect fit on my 2009 JD X500.

This is a quality product for a rigorously used component. Installing it was hellish, but that’s a JohnDeere issue not the product. Ultimately it required four hands and four eyes to reinstall. Since however, it has provided 100+ hours of much turning with a steering wheel knob around trees galore without issue.

Worked great for my 2016 X500. Definitely easier if you remove the deck!

The item was fine. It was finicky to install but not the items fault.

Ordered to repair the steering on my X320 tractor. Part shipped quickly, less than 48 hours later tractor was usable again. This part has the pivot shank welded to the gear, while my OEM parts had a separate shank with nuts and bushings. Transferred the bushings, washers and one nut over and was done in less than an hour. A couple of sockets (5/8 and 15/16) and some adjustable wrenches and socket extensions were all that was needed (oh also an electric impact wrench from Harbor Freight, since my shouler is injured). Didn't have to do anything with the steering wheel or the steering rod. OEM part lasted 17 years, this one looks fairly well made, so will see how this one holds up.

As good as oem at 1/6 the price! Got rid of the steering slop and was identical to the original. Replace the 2 bearings also when replacing it.

Put this on our JD tractor and works great. This part is visually different than what was on the tractor but is mechanically the same.
