My 1-year old son was coming home from daycare with several new bug bites every day despite them having turf on the playground instead of grass and I purchased these to try before having to resort to sprays/lotions or DEET-products since I was needing something for daily use. I also purchased the repellant stickers and had them place a band around his ankle and one of the stickers on the back of his shirt during outside play time. I honestly had low expectations, particularly given the mixed reviews, but they have worked so well at school that I started using them on both my son and 4-year old daughter at home while playing in the backyard. We have a wooded area adjacent to our yard and have had to pay for treatments to the yard previously due to the mosquitos and we would still get bites despite the treatments and having several Tiki torches burning in the yard while we were out there. Since using these, they've played outside several times with no bites at all and I've started using them myself as well. We've also reused the same bracelets on multiple occurrences and keep them stored in the zip pouch between uses and haven't noticed any change in their effectiveness. Honestly fantastic product. Glad I took a chance on these and will definitely be purchasing again!

These seem to work pretty well. Definitely did not get bit as much when I wore these as when I didn't. The material is soft and you would almost forget it's there except that the little button you push through the hole to secure the bracelet has a sharp point on the end, which can be irritating at times. I solved this problem by putting it on "inside-out" which really looks and functions the same. If you get it wet, the color does leak onto your skin but washes off pretty easily. Highly recommend!

The repellent worked ok. I wore one an ankle and one on my wrist. We were camped out by a lake and plenty of mosquitoes were present. These weren't 100% effective but did work. I'm normally a magnet for bugs and ended the day with only 3 bites in areas away from the bracelets.I was disappointed that my wrist became blue after washing my hands and getting some water on the band. The lighter yellow was the only one that did not noticeably bleed color onto the skin if gotten wet.3 star because of the color stains. I didn't test it out if it transferred to other things like clothing or furniture. I'm assuming it would. Just be careful to not get wet.

So far these have seemed to work well. I was getting attacked early on and bought these microfiber bracelets at the start of the Summer when the plastic slinky versions were out of stock. Frankly, I think these are better. They are great to have handy when out on the porch or walking outside. The citronella is not overwhelming and having sensitive skin I worried about breaking out, but I did not have any reaction. I would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Im still getting bit by mosquitos even when I'm wearing it on both my arms and legs. Yesterday a mosquito was biting me right next to the thing on my leg.I like the herb scent on the bracelets. I'll give that part a 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bands are easy to use. They snap on quickly. I have used 1 of them 3 times and it still keeps the mosquitoes away.Only draw back is don't get them wet. The color bleeds from the fabric and stains the skin. It took serious scrubbing to get the stains off and my finger nails are still discolored after 4 days.
