I really don't write reviews. Certainly haven't in the past few years, and I CERTAINLY don't write negative reviews. But man, I wish I'd actually read these reviews, because these are garbage. They are unusable. Their tape snaps on the third use. They are worthless, a waste of plastic. I was trying to be more efficient by getting a set of dispensers with refills, but they just fall apart. Spend literally a dollar more on a higher quality set, because others like this are great for paper taping. These are a total scam.

I was happy to see that these tape runners can now be refillable. Hopefully that eliminates some plastic waste. I like these kinds of tape. I have found that when making a greeting card, these are so much less messy. Some glues leave messes on my hands, workspace, and the card itself. I do like this type of glue much better. I look forward to not having to find them again when I run out as I can use the replacements which is great. I haven't tried to take them apart yet, as I don't want to ruin anything.I appreciate receiving these to try out. Thank you.

This tape dispenser is easy to use. One side has a spot to put your finger correctly at the point to roll the tape across your project. I'd been looking for an easy and sticky way to mount photos to note cards. This is it. And for your money, you get refills for the dispenser. 4 fun colors to switch off the refills in. The tape comes out pretty easy, some ripping when you first get started. The glue is strong for quick application. .... I've been using it for awhile now. The paper breaks. We keep taking it apart to attach the paper back onto the spool. It's getting frustrating.

I really wanted to like these because it's a decent deal for multiple rollers and refills. The tape itself isn't bad for the junk journals I'm working on. The first one I used worked great until it ran out, and then when I went to replace it, 3 of the refills got wasted because I would start using them and then the tape would get tangled in the roller or simply not come out, even when I opened the roller to try and make it work. Not worth it, next time I'm just gonna pay a bit more for better quality ones that I know will work.

You get one or two passes to glue down cardstock, and then the tape breaks. To make one card, I went through 3 sets, each of which broke. I don’t recommend this at all. Very poor performance.

Once you figure out to put the correct side down on your project and pull, it works pretty consistenty. My problem at first is that I kept putting it down opposite, so when I would pull, the roller thing would pop out and it obviously did not work. I finally figured out there is a set of grooves on the top for your finger to rest on. Make sure that is up and you are good.I haven't installed any of the refills yet, so cannot comment on how difficult/easy that step is.Love that the project is stuck together immediately. So convenient not having to wait for glue to dry.Good value for these tape runners + the refills.
