What a great cordless sweeper! Just love this thing. Has a charging stand receiver to the sweeper stand upright on its own while charging. Amazed at how efficient it was a pulling up pet hairs and cleaning the carpet and solid floors. Really lightweight and front lights illuminate the front of the sweeper. Then there's the detachable hand held unit that does all the work for the sweeper. Looks sleek and has an small 6inch extender attachment to clean furnishings. Easy to discharge the debris by opening up the hand held and throwign out the contents. Simple sponge and special discharge inside nozel that comes in 2 parts allows unti to be kept clear and clean ready for use. Really like this thing...and the wife does too!

I was so excited about this vacuum! It was exactly what I was hoping for, but after about six months, the motor just doesn't work anymore. The suction power is really weak. Makes it almost pointless in using. Which I'm really sad about. Because I love the design, functionality, the vacuum light, easy of cleaning the filter, charging base, detachable smaller handheld part, light weight and size. It just needs a more powerful motor and it would be perfect! UPDATE: I have washed the filter and it is working much better now. I need to be more diligent in that. I still wish it was more powerful, but cleaning the dirty filter and brush blade made a big difference.

I have a very large open concept living/kitchen/entry & hall that is all hardwood – I also have a Shepard so I have to vacuum hair every day. I had been using the Shark Vacmop which I really like as it picks up great but the replacement pads were getting pricey. With as much vacuum as I was doing, I have to change the pads out daily. When I purchased the Roomie Tech cordless vacuum, I did so to still have the convenience of a cordless while hoping it would do the daily job as easily as the Shark Vacmop. Initially I was very disappointed; When I first received this I had to leave for a long trip so wasn't able to unbox it until I returned home - by this point it was past the Amazon return policy. Out of the box this was obliviously a return and looked like it had been well used. I charged it hoping it would work but it would not even pick up dog hair. I posted a review for the seller and they responded right away and sent me a new one, kudos for the Roomie Tech co for responding & taking care of this issue for me. I received the new one today (new out of the box this time) and I have to say I was impressed. Because it had been awhile since I purchased this item and I had never used this product before I didn't know the first one I received wasn't functioning properly (no lights & no power to the floor brush) and I didn't know it was missing an attachment. After using the new one I realized this actually works very well for my needs and was exactly what I was looking for. Only time will tell how long it lasts but so far so go & with the Shark Vacmop being only slightly cheaper but having to pay so much for the replacement pads in the long run this will definitely save me money.

I have had 4-5 of these vacuums over the years. They have repeatedly replaced them when they've failed under warranty, which I appreciate, but the last time I had to pay to ship it back to them and then the new on they sent me quit working within 6 weeks - same problems as the last 2 I had. Some wiring short causes the light and brush roll to quit working. If these worked as designed they would be a dream, I have recommended them to so many people, but I'm done with it. Seems like the quality has just gotten worse and worse. OLD REVIEW: This is a handy little vacuum and I would definitely recommend it. I was on the fence, since our corded vacuum is perfectly fine, but this has changed my life! It's extremely lightweight, the swivel action is SO easy to navigate around furniture, the suction is decent and the battery life is great. I especially love that the battery automatically stops charging when it's reached capacity so that it doesn't burn out; every other plug in Dustbuster or vacuum we've had ends up barely holding a charge when they are plugged in charging 24/7 for too long. My house is 2500 sq ft and has dark wood floors constantly left dirty by 3 cats, 1 dog, 2 kids, and a husband. We have a nice Oreck for deep cleaning, but I pretty much only pull that out once every week or two and use this stick vacuum every day or every other day in between. I can easily do a quick sweep of the entire house on a single charge and still have life left. It doesn't pick up everything - it does great with hair and cat litter and crumbs, not so great with big things like cheerios. It works well when level with the ground, but if it's not hovering right over something it can't suck it up, so like if one side of it runs up on the edge of a rug or something else not level, it won't do a good job. Initially I had only given 4 stars because I was having a hard time squeezing my fingers into this little crevice to clean out the hair and gunk that got stuck in part of the filter. After I posted my review, I got an e-mail from the company explaining how to simply twist the red part to separate it and making removing any stuck debris a breeze! MIND BLOWN. I had no idea it came apart and I'm so glad they company contacted me to give me this tip. Get yourself one of these - it's a great investment and totally saves my sanity for less than $100.

I really wanted to love this vacuum. And for the first month or so, I did. I showed anyone who would glance my way my super cool vacuum. But it's not so good now and I rarely use it because of its issues. It's losing its ability to actually pick up dirt and, in my case, litter. It has suction still, but for whatever reason everything just ends up spinning in the tube thing leading up to the dirt chamber. It'll appear to be vacuuming perfectly fine, and then I turn it off and pick it up to empty out and return it to its charger, and everything that I just vacuumed out falls on the floor. I really don't understand what the problem is, but of course this issue started just after I left the service and return time window. I clean out the dirt chamber after every use and the hand held vacuum still works fine, so I'm out of ideas. Pros: -Super light weight -The LED lights are incredibly cool and it makes ignoring all of the cat hair on the floor impossible -The rotating head is very satisfying to use and makes the job comfortable and fast -I like the bumpers because I would definitely damage my base boards otherwise. You can use a broom for edges and corners, like you're supposed to -2-in-1 thing is awesome, vacuuming the couch as never been easier -I've only ever run out of battery with this once, and that's because I hadn't put it back on the charger properly last time. Cons: -My vacuum won't bring anything up to the dirt chamber anymore. All of the dirt and litter that I just tried to pick up falls out on to the floor as soon as I turn off the vacuum -It can be a little difficult to get the vacuum onto the charger properly. That's much more of an inconvenience though than a problem -It started having issues as soon as I could no longer return it or get help from the seller for it In summary - I loved this vacuum. Loved, as in used to and no longer do. I think I'm better off coughing up the money and just getting a name brand cordless vacuum.

So far it’s a great little vacuum for what I bought it for. I’ve got tile and hardwood floors upstairs and it picked all my tumbleweeds up (dog hair) nicely! It’s even got rubber around the edges which is great because I’m always smacking walls no matter how careful I try to be. It also lays down to get far under furniture etc. The folding aspect I love too because it fits away nicely under my shelf just like I had envisioned it to! The light on the front makes it very easy to see the dog hair I’m after as well. Great product overall, so far.

Lightweight, runs smoothly, worked right out of box. Will always own one. I have older Roomietec which is slowly losing charge after 3 years of use, still can use as handheld vacuum. I have used my older Roomietec everyday (sometimes more) since I have had it, great for quick runs through bathrooms, kitchen and pickups. My house is approximately 2000 square feet and can vacuum whole house on one charge. I have hardwood floors with some low pile throw rugs and RoomieTec glides smoothly over each surface. (I have a larger vacuum for heavy duty cleaning about every other week.) I absolutely love my RoomieTec. So easy and quick! Thank you RoomieTec for making my life easier!
