adidas Defender Duffel Small

I needed a bag mostly to carry my shoes, wallet, phone, and other small items with me to the campus recreation center. As it's very close to my apartment, I don't typically need to take a change of clothes with me, so this bag is really rather large for my needs. It seems well-built, it shipped quickly, and the price was right. I'm only taking a star off because it's almost too big for me, I'm a small guy, and it looks especially awkward when it's mostly-empty. That's not really adidas' fault, though. It's definitely large enough to take a few changes of clothes in, and even a few pairs of shoes, on weekend trips.

I bought this for my husband. He takes his gym clothes to work and goes to gym after work. It looks a little big for just putting shoes, shorts and a T-shirt in. I'm surprised that there are almost no smaller size duffels available. This is for men, how many things do they carry to gym? But we kept it, it was a hassle to return.

Good value for money. I needed a small gym bag that holds everything you need for a gym (shoes, gym apparel, towel, toiletries, etc.). It looks thin, but does it's job. I like that it has a netted pouch for shoes (to air stinky shoes). It will not hold a change of clothes however - it's too small for it.

I returned this. I read the measurements, but I should have drawn a template. It's an awkwardly tall bag and carries especially awkward if not totally full - it draws inward and gets even taller when not very full. The material was much thinner than I thought it'd be. In any case, it's bargain duffle, but not what I was looking for. I spent a few more dollars and got a more comfortably carrying and nicer feeling Puma.

its a good smaller/medium size bag. has side pockets with mesh sides so it lets you air out shoes, dirty clothes, etc. Held all my items and fit inside a small locker at the gym. -1 star because the hinges are plastic and they squeak when you walk. An obnoxious squeak. I went as far as lubricating the joins to try to make it stop.

We've had this bag for over a year and it's held up great. We use it often, at least two a week for swim classes, and it still looks just like new. The bag is roomy enough to fit two towels and clothing for two people. The main compartment has one small zipper pocket (we use it for hair ties) and there are two exterior side pockets that fit goggles, hair brush, etc.

The bag is pretty good size for my 6 yr old soccer player. Has nice side pockets for his soccer shoes, and another for water bottle. The ball and any clothes fits well inside.Unfortunately the first one we ordered did NOT have a shoulder strap, so we had to exchange it.

I bought this for the gym. It has plenty of room but I wish it had a bottle pocket on the outside and a few more zipped pockets on the inside. It's also very stiff, which I hope will lessen over time. I'll continue to use until I find something better.
