I purchased this piece knowing I would use as a serving station on our covered screened porch. It was easy to put together and only took 45 minutes with two people. It is sturdy and a great size for what I had planned. The only thing was the finish was too orange for me. We decide to stain it with a black transparent minwax stain. It turned out more gorgeous than we had expected. We are loving the function and beauty it has added to our patio/outdoor dining area. Highly recommend this item.

I just received and assembled my potting bench today. The carton arrived via Fed Ex in good condition, and the parts were well-packaged with lots of foam and wrapping to protect them. The assembly instructions were fairly clear, and all parts were labeled with a number to aid in construction. The hardware was sorted by bags and extras were included. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to assemble the bench by myself. I had a little bit of confusion on the hutch section since one piece was stamped on the front and I kept trying to face that part to the back. I did use a power driver and went easy since the wood is soft. The pre-drilled holes all aligned well and there was no wood splitting. After reading reviews of several other benches on Amazon, it seems like this piece was much easier to assemble and is better constructed than many others that are a little cheaper. The final piece looks good and is very sturdy, although light weight. To me, the price difference of about $50 is well worth it for an item that is better quality and will hold up.In terms of appearance, the green is a light stain rather than solid paint so you can see the wood grain through it. There was one minor spot where the stain was rubbed off on my bench top. It's a light neutral color that would look good in most outdoor spaces. The slatted shelves and back are a nice design feature, as are the rounded edges on the shelves. There is plenty of storage space on the open shelves and the 3 hook rack for hanging hand tools on the side is a convenient bonus feature. You can also add your own hooks to the back recessed area for additional tool storage. For scale, in the photos, you can see that two 5-gallon buckets will fit on one of the lower shelves. The hutch shelves are 5 1/2 inches deep with 9 inches between them, so they will hold small to medium size pots. As I mentioned, some of the part numbers wind up partially visible on the finished product, but I think once I have placed all my items they will not be very noticeable. The fasteners and some of the supports are visible, but it's a potting bench not fine furniture so I don't see that as an issue. My bench will be in my garage, so how the finish will hold up is not a concern. Overall, I recommend this as a good sturdy piece for a reasonable price that will meet most people's needs.

This is an attractive potting table with a lot of storage space and relatively easy to assemble. However, after assembling ours we had a day of rain showers and the next morning left the two lower shelfs bowed up as shown in the attached photo. Hopefully, this can be corrected by placing a lot of weighted objects on the shelf. Beware.......

I ordered four different tables. This was the best of all four. Good for the price.

I love the layout of this potting station, plenty of room for all my soils, foods, tools, etc. wish it was a bit sturdier and treated wood. I was excited to use it but will have to clean it off good and treat the wood and tighten everything up again. I’ve been using it daily for about 2 months.

It's nice to know that the completed assembled potting bench looks as nice as the photo in the ad. We found the finished size suited the limited area where it needed to be but in spite of that it has a lot of storage space for planters, tools and potting mix. With the instructions supplied and with parts plainly marked we had no issues getting the bench put together.

It is very cute. I use it for flowers on my porch. Since it’s outside I sealed it to protect the wood. The color in the picture is a bit off but not a big deal. I like it very much.
