An exceptional cookbook that had me using my laptop as I read to look up ingredient/plant/seed availability. If I had to choose a favorite section of the book, it would be the salads. I already have plans to make Num Banh Chok Nam Prek Thai Samai Thmei again; this time with friends.

I am a Cambodian retiree in Phnom Penh. I bought this superb book of chef Nak for my daughter. She is so impressed by the sophistication and quality in the conception of this book. She had pulled out some few miracles from the recipes. It will definitely be a very pleasant surprise when I visit her soon in San Diego. I have lived for 50 years in France and the US before my retirement. The development of Cambodia is astonishing. Thank you and best wishes.

Celebrity Chef Nak is one of Cambodia’s treasures. This beautifully made book collects ancient, lost recipes that have been recovered and presented in a tasteful way. This is a must have for any chef or lover of exotic cuisine.

The description of "paperback" is incorrect. It is boxed and hardcover. As someone who has a considerable collection of South East Asian cook books, this one is a valued addition but more for reading & cultural education than for cooking.

The cookbook's artwork is so beautiful that it keeps me turning the pages. Like other reviews have said, the cookbook arrives in hardcover form not paper cover.

This book is absolutely stunning—no detail left unturned. Beautiful photos and detailed descriptions for every recipe. I haven’t had the chance to try the recipes yet as it arrived today, but it’s one of those books I would keep for the knowledge and beauty alone. I own hundreds of cookbooks and this is by far one of my favorites.

Packaged secure and received. New condition, smells like a new book. Overall, appreciative of my mother's cooking as a lot of the recipes are the ones my mother made growing up.
