I’ve always adored the cosy glow of candles, but the inherent risks of open flames and melting wax have often put me off. These flameless candles, however, have been a revelation. Look great would buy again

I have bought several of these but the last set were a disappointment as it was almost impossible to insert the batteries. They just wouldn’t slot in and lie flat which meant that they didn’t connect. We eventually made an adjustment & with huge difficulty pushed the batteries in. I will not buy these again.

My wife loves the low light of candles and would often have a few burning in the living room. But me being sensitive to the different smells made it difficult to have them on. So when she spotted these it seemed like a good idea. They arrived nicely packed and I loaded them up with AA batteries, two per candle, three candies in the box (not four candles that's completely different 😅) so six AA batteries were required to start with. They are great but do eat battery life so I quickly switched out to rechargeable batteries to save cost, this works a treat and has cut the cost down considerably. The thing we like about these is the remote control, it gives a timer option so they will stay on for the selected time of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours or straight on and off. It also has a brightness setting of candle or light with a dimmer option which is really handy. We now have two sets of these so again I would really recommend rechargeable batteries, which might be an initial expense but compared to the ongoing cost of replacing candles it works out cheaper. The other upside is that there is no smoke which can discolour the walls and ceiling above over time, and there's no fire risk. Ambient lighting without the risk!

Safe and lovely

The good: The lights are beautiful, look just like real candles. Very pleasing. The bad. Should have used built in rechargeable batteries. The user manual does not say how long 2 AA batteries can last. The ugly The battery compartment is a tight fit for most AA Batteries, either Amazon Basics, or Duracell, the compartment are just too small for them. Rechargeable AA Batteries are a little bit larger compared to one use batteries, so they have NIL chance of fitting into the compartments. With this oversight I have deducted 2 stars .
