We bought both the fountain and the replacement filters. Our cat loves this fountain! The bubbling effect at the top encourages her to drink more and because it's cool and filtered it helps with the summer heat. We live in a desert and she has a double coat. The filters work really well and the fountain is completely silent. It's quality ceramic with no chips and an even glaze. The cord is long enough to stretch from the outlet above our counter to the ground .Our friend and her large service dog came to stay with us for a few days and the fountain was able to hold enough water for both of our animals.It shipped carefully packed in foam with each individual piece wrapped. The one thing I wish would be different is to include an assembly guide. We found a video put together by iPettie on YouTube and followed the instructions. Customer service emailed us to check in after a few weeks, they're great.10/10 recommend. A must need if you live in a natural desert.

It really looks like a smaller version of a fountain you'd visit as a tourist. The ceramic does seem easy enough to clean. The instructions were a little weird concerning the filter, and it's not really obvious how you assemble the thing. When I turned it on, it was actually quiet. Eventually it started making a slight straw-sucking noise... I guessed someone might've moved it, so maybe that shifted the top piece, so the seal to the central column wasn't quite right. I tried reseating the top piece, giving it a little twist, and, now it's silent again, at least for now, and still pretty. Oh, and it's probably the most expensive cat fountain on Amazon right now. Anything for my kitty, right? =^.^=

I have 4 indoor cats and they drink lots of water from this beautiful ceramic fountain. I have to clean it at least every two weeks and new filters are a must! Keep your babies healthy and happy!😸😻
