I’ve used it every spring since 2019. It worked fairly well but it did jam quite a bit and it has now completely conked out on me. I think it should have lasted longer given the limited use (and, yes, I followed guidelines and read the manual). Hope this helps!

Stopped working in the middle of the second chipping session after a total lifetime of less than two hours. This wood was green and soft and had been chipping easily for 15 minutes and to about 1" diameter until this point. See the attached picture to see what killed the machine. Customer service was great, and offered a warranty replacement but... the unit and any comparable machine has been out of stock for a full year. Either their supply chain is in shambles or it's a scam to discontinue unreliable products after enough warranty claims are submitted. I doubt I'll ever see a replacement and would not recommend anyone to purchase any power tools from this brand. Beware also other brands selling suspiciously similar-looking machines, which are all likely from the same factory, white labeled for specific brands like SunJoe, and exhibiting the same quality issues.

Was so excited to get this chipper/shredder. Bought it to chip up all the twigs and small branches accumulating around my fairly big garden. Could not feed ANYTHING into the tiny slot. Tried one or two twigs at a time then a small amount of woody weeds. Could not get any of it down far enough to be chipped/shredded. Used the paddle as indicated. Big disappointment. Very poor design
