Energizer LED Strip Energy Saving Lightbulb, Warm White, S15s, 4 W (221mm)

Brilliant bulb, for those confused about the energy rating, the scale recently changed in 2021, the standards have doubled so this bulb would have been and A but is now and f, currently there are no bulbs that are better than a C and that is to allow the lighting company’s room to innovate. Rest assured that this bulb is still very efficient and cheap to run, in layman’s terms, you will be good if you get a low wattage bulb and it is bright enough for your needs, and this bulb most definitely is.

Perfect replacement for a traditional tube light and just as bright, however a fraction of the cost to run as LED. Just ensure the correct length and remember when replacing in a bathroom you will probably need to install the cover to the light fitting when testing, as this is normally a safety feature of bathroom lights. At first I incorrectly assumed the LED tube wasn’t working, only realising after I replaced the cover that it was working.

The light is bright and is LED, but is rated F rather than A as it shown in the pictures.

I liked the fit. Used to replace a couple of incandescent tubular bulbs in a vintage display cabinet. I like the fact that it has the 25%(appx) blanking strip, so lamp can be rotated to suit required light direction. In addition, low energy, low cost replacement.

Used to replace the original bulb in our bedroom light in our van and this fitted perfectly. The old one heated up a lot to the point you cannot touch it after it’s been on for about 10 minutes. With this, there is 0 heat and it’s either just as bright or maybe even a bit brighter. I’d read some reviews that said the bulb is ever so slightly smaller than the one it was replacing and didn’t work for them, but I had no such issues. It fitted perfectly and works a treat.

Great quality light. Quick delivery, easy to install

I used two of these LED lamps (strip lights) to replace the very old and inefficient 30W lamps in a bed-headboard unit. These LED strip lights are brighter! The only very slight drawback is the LED lamps only emit light for say 240 degrees of their circumference, due to an internal reflective coating to direct the light. No problem in most applications eg. Shaver strip lights etc. The lamps are glass. Ensure you check the length before purchase as there are other sizes available. I definitely recommend these LED strip lights and would buy them again.

The lamp arrived safely within 24 hours of ordering. It fitted perfectly into a Crabtree shaver/mirror light fitting. The lamp produced significantly greater light output and whiter light than the yellow tinged 60 Watt tungsten filament lamp it replaced. At a stroke the energy consumption was reduced by 90% and light output increased. Result. Only time will tell whether the lamp life is better than the filament lamp though. Update (19 January 2022): Very pleased to report that the lamp is still working fine having been used several times a day every day for 5 years.

Ce tube faisait toutefois près de 5 mm de moins que le tube à filament standard de "l'époque". Mais en tordant un peu les pattes de contact, ça s'est bien mis en place. Pour info, les contacts sont uniquement des petits plots de Ø 3 à 4 mm en bout.

J'utilise ces lampes pour eclairer les cadres aux murs d'une pièce de la maison. Parfait et economique
