The Tilta Advanced Ring Grip is a well-built product from a purely physical standpoint. Solid construction, good ergonomics, and a professional feel. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The handles feature sliders and controls that clearly imply lens motor (FIZ) control. In practice, however, there is no reliable or officially supported compatibility with Tilta’s own motors. Not with the Nucleus-M, not with the Nano, and not with the Nano II. What exists instead are workarounds, special cables, unstable firmware, and inconsistent results. This is not a minor technical limitation. It is an unfulfilled implied promise. Tilta released the Ring Grip suggesting a fully integrated ecosystem that was never completed. Instead of finishing development, the company moved on, releasing newer motor systems that are incompatible with previous products, leaving the Ring Grip effectively abandoned. The result is a product that sells an illusion: controls that control nothing meaningful, and a design whose potential never made it beyond marketing. It works well as a grip. It fails entirely as a system. At this price point, that is not just disappointing — it is disrespectful to the customer.

Ich nutze den TILTA Basic Ring Grip Plus mit meinem DJI RS4 Pro – und möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Die Verarbeitung ist wie von Tilta gewohnt sehr hochwertig, alles fühlt sich stabil und durchdacht an. Der Ring verteilt das Gewicht gleichmäßig, was gerade bei langen Shootings eine enorme Entlastung ist. Was ich besonders schätze: Die integrierte Steuerung funktioniert super – ich kann meinen Gimbal bequem vom Griff aus bedienen und habe volle Kontrolle, ohne ständig am Gimbal rumfummeln zu müssen. Ein echtes Highlight ist für mich aber die Möglichkeit, unkompliziert einen V-Mount-Akku zu integrieren. Bei längeren Drehs ist das Gold wert – kein ständiges Akkutauschen, keine provisorischen Halterungen. Einfach anklemmen, verbinden, loslegen. Der Ring ist robust, flexibel einsetzbar und für Solo-Shooter wie mich ein riesiger Gewinn am Set. Ganz klare Empfehlung für alle, die professionell mit DJI RS-Gimbals arbeiten.

Il n'y a pas de notice juste un QR code qui vous renvoi sur leur site. Malheureusement la télécommande du ring tilta plus n'est pas référencée sur le site. Aucune réponse du sav, même sur le chat Facebook. J'ai demandé de l'aide auprès des acheteurs personne n'a été en mesure de m'aider. Ca fait 1 mois que je l'ai je ne peux pas m'en servir.
