I never write reviews but this is the best thumb splint ever.
I sprained the outside of my thumb a few months ago on the IP joint (towards the tip of the thumb) and I've been searching for a decent thumb splint ever since. I've tried at least 5 different ways to splint my thumb and most make it unusable to use a mouse, or others weren't as supportive. This splint is the only one that protects my thumb, reduces/nearly eliminated swelling, and allows me to comfortably use my hand for nearly 8-12 hours a day (and at night). It has a metal piece in it that's wrapped in felt which honestly makes it really quite comfortable. I do take breaks from wearing it so I don't get stiffness in my thumb. The only negative is if I make it too tight to make my thumb as straight as possible, I can get a little mark/slight soreness on the top of my thumb where the black band is. But it's a very little price to pay for being able to actually use my thumb! My thumb seems to be healing (still swelling on and off some) but I'm not sure it would have if not for this splint! I'm even able to play FPS videogames with this splint on, much easier than any other ones, and I'm going to try playing pickleball next with it on. Also, like others said, you can wear this in the shower (which is good because warm water makes injuries swell up), and because there's 5 of the splints, I just switch it out to a dry one when I'm done. One thing I should note is that there is a relatively strong chemical smell on these, but I only notice it when I'm sleeping at night when my hand's next to my face. If you air them out for a day or two they don't smell as bad, but even ones I have used for a while still have a very faint "lingering" smell if you put your nose up to them.Absolutely the best thumb splint I've ever used.

Good for what I needed
Good for what I needed. I wanted it for an arthritic finger to play tennis. I had to remove the metal brace and the pouch it goes into so it would allow my finger to flex somewhat. Works pretty good with the modifications.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
I dont normally write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised with this little gem, I had to write a review. If you have trigger thumb or finger this is what you need. It is comfortable, and can be worn to the office or anywhere, unlike the bulky splints.UPDATE 1/18/23I have been so blown away by these tiny splints, I just had to do an update. Pain in my trigger thumb is almost gone after 3 days of use. These splints are so comfortable and allows movement of my thumb to just the right degree so my thumb is not completely immobilized, which would not be a good thing. I am able to type and do all my daily activities of living without worrying about my thumb locking up and getting irritated. I also just want to say to all the people giving this product a bad review, you are not being fair. I wish people would give honest reviews and not give false reviews as it could turn off people on genius products like this tiny little splint. I AM NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW.

Love it!
I have tried numerous splints for my trigger finger. This is the best one I’ve used by far. It is very comfortable. I forget I’m wearing it. The size adjusts easily, and it supports my finger well. As the package comes with numerous splints, I will be set for a while. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve edited my review to add that my trigger finger is almost a non-issue since I’ve been wearing this. It’s so comfortable that I’ve been wearing it nearly 24/7 since it arrived. I forgot to put it on the other day and much to my surprise, my finger did not trigger at all. I’m going to continue wearing it to give my finger a chance to completely heal, but it seems to be doing the job.

Great Trigger finger relief
I have trigger finger on my right ring finger and these are an absolute need. You get a pack of ten so I wear one till it's dirty than put another one on and continue this until I have a few to wash then air dry and they wash great. I put them into a bag so the velcro doesn't stick to a shirt or them get lost. I wear them during the day and take it off at night so my finger can relax, they say in medical info the opposite but I need the support while I'm using my hand so it doesn't lock up and I've had two cortisone shots. I highly reccomend these for anybody who has trigger finger on any finger as they are adjustable.

They work well
These are a good value and they work well. I wear a couple at night to keep my fingers from closing and locking. My disappointment comes from the fact that they fray at the edges a little,; the Velcro tore off one, but I was able to reattach it (because it's Velcro). They get a little warm and sticky after a while because there's a shiny plastic material that touches the finger. I think a bit of baby powder might elevate this problem. All-in-all, they eliminate waking up with a locked finger and that's value enough.
