Very different. Fun to fiddle with.

So much fun and eye-catching. This is a beautiful set of magnetic crystal like pieces. They are tough - ours were dropped several times and there were no chips or cracks. The magnets are strong enough to hold the shape you make together, but not so tough they are hard to pull apart. I gave one each to a grandson and granddaughter for Christmas and they were played with a lot. They are still being played with a month later. The other grandkids have mentioned that they would like one of these too.

Cool product to keep your kids busy for some time.

I purchased these for my mom who has rheumatoid arthritis. She needs to excercise her hands often so that she does not get contractures. She squeezes the orb then works at putting it back together. She lives in a long term care facility and the staff and visitors are often seen playing with them when they go in to see her. Whether for hand exercises or a fidget toy just leave on a counter or coffee table and everyone will give it a go.

If you need something to do while talking or watching TV, this is easy to use and the magnets are strong enough to hold.

Recipient is recovering from major injury and is stuck at home wanting things to do because they're usually very physically active. Loves playing with this so much, he asked for more which we ordered. Now he can create larger pieces and it's keeping his mind off doing boring things like watching tv.

They appeared to be decently well made. Good packaging. Not a huge hit.
