Good for the price but not without upgrading somethings
The processor is dookey and holds back the 4070 for sure and understandable for the price but the graphics card is legit get a better processer and more ram you have a solid rig game console size

Well built little PC
The Shuttle R9 PC is a serviceable PC. While yes, it does not have the latest in greatest in terms of CPU. it was good for my workload. It handled everything I threw it (office tasks, light gaming, YouTube/Netflix). The lights were a little much thus I ended up unplugging the Molex to turn them off. Once that was done, the unit was much easier on the eyes. Overall it handle mostly everything I threw at it, although your mileage may very. I was very satisficed with unit. May decide to throw some 3.5" drives down the line for more storage capacity.

CPU is Bottle necking GPU not worth the buy
THe CPU is a CPU from Q1 2017, so much slower and does not work well with GPU

An incredible mismatch of platform and graphics card
While the PC works., as in it starts up and doesn't burst into flames, it just doesn't work well. The issue is that the platform is very old, the 7th generation Intel CPU is six years old, and doesn't even support several technologies that are standard today.Seriously. the Dell Optiplex on your doctors receptionists desk is a more powerful system than a 7th generation Core CPU.On the otherhand, the RTX 4070 is a very new, and very powerful graphics card, in an appropriate platform, day 11th generation an up Intel, or third generation an up Ryzen, will play even the newest and most challenging games smoothly. In this system many games that are several years old will be a stuttery mess, not because the graphics card isn't up to the task, but because the very old CPU just can't keep up.I just can't think of any realistic situation where this combination of hardware makes any sense.
