For what it is, I’m happy with my purchase. It’s a -what I consider- proper water water filter, that I can have easy, portable access to at all times..however…i really do find it difficult to drink out of. I understand that it’s being heavily filtered so there’s going to be some drawback, but you do have to pull rather hard. Also, I guess I didn’t look at the pictures hard enough, but the filter does take up a whole lot of room. I haven’t poured the water out to see if it matches the size that they say the bottle is, or read the full description, so I could be wrong, but it was bigger than expected I guess. No big deal. Last minor prob was I find for being an insulated bottle, it gets warm pretty quick. I put ice in it at 7am, it’s melted and warm by 1pm. I dunno. Again, not a big deal. I purchased this for the filter, not for all that other stuff. So, what im saying is, it does it’s job. If you have $80 to easily spend. If not, maybe go for the regular plastic one that’s half the price, cause im not sure this one’s worth double

I love lifestraw but wanted a bottle for international travel. This was perfect! This 24oz is a little much for most cupholders, but the 18oz is perfect for cupholders. Both are a little weird about the carbon filter. If you aren’t regularly using the bottle, this should be replaced more often to be effective. But the straw itself is good for 264 gallons.

Tested with ginger tea and only tasted water. Ginger didn't get through. Passes our testing and ready for Phillipines notorious water quality.
