Performed as I hoped

Perfect, very happy with te item. It is perfect for boiling eggs, and easy to clean. Its not very big so fits well in the kitchen. highly recommended.

1. The alarm is loud. And doesn't switch off... 2. The measuring cup is really hard to read first thing in the morning. I've only done medium boiled so far. Does the job well. The residue inside takes a bit to shift sometimes but generally not too bad to clean. Have been using almost every day for 2 months now and works well.

extremely poor no UK plug

We purchased this egg cooker to poach eggs. After a number of attempts we have given up, the eggs do not poach evenly. The top of the yoke can be hard and the white at the bottom still transparent. We tried different water levels and even putting hot water in the container with no success. We rang Russell Hobs but they could not suggest a solution. It may boil eggs, we did not try, but it is not successful at poaching.

It works like a charm and I’m sure to get the value out of this little steamer for quite some time - time will tell, used it about ten times so far.

Very satisfied with the performance of the boiler. First I ordered the philips but immediately returned as was not handy and looked quiet primitiv. The Russel Hoobs is well made, looks decent, and does the job very well. It's much more easy to clean, since the plastic egg holder is removable, and simply can swipe the metal body with the tissue. Also the plastic measure cup has more logical, easily readable scale, for sure you need some time get practice how much water you need for your size of the eggs, but after few times use we are very pleased.

The item was ok, but the power cord provided was with European connector. So, I need a converter to use it. The item was ordered from Australia, so I should have received the correct power cord. This is highly inconvenient for me.
