I've had numerous laptops, tablets, and smart phones over the years. I spend a lot of time on planes, in airports, and on cruises. I like to watch TV/movies, listen to music, and play games to kill time. I also like to catch-up on emails and Facebook. The smart phone is too small, the laptop is too big, and tablets are a pain to type with. This convertible Chromebook does everything I want and need in a lightweight package it has a 13 hour battery life. It fits easily in my backpack. I was worried that it would be slow, but it works very smoothly. I knew that the $800-$1200 models would be great, but I didn't want to spend that much. For $180 this thing rocks!

This was my first Chromebook purchase and I am very satisfied. Acer makes a quality product and I especially like the Gorilla glass Touch screen. Download speed is excellent and the Aluminum case is nice upgrade from plastic. Battery life seems to be as advertised as I used it two days without a recharge. I'm happy I purchased it and the price is excellent for what take along on vacation laptop.

Bought it to use as a compact, light weight convertible laptop/tablet with good battery life for travel. My daily driver is a MacBook Air M1, which is incomparably better for only 7 times the price. The Acer Spin 311 is a terrific low-cost travel companion with good battery life, a bright screen, adequate computing, video and connectivity performance. If you're a citizen of the Google universe, it connects and synchs seamlessly at an unbelievably low price.

I bought two of these Acer 2023 X360 Chromebook Spin laptops for my children about a year ago, and they have been a fantastic investment. The devices are fast, responsive, and handle schoolwork, streaming, and everyday browsing without any problems. The 2-in-1 convertible design has been especially useful—my kids switch easily between laptop and tablet mode depending on what they’re working on. The 8-core MediaTek processor performs surprisingly well, and even after a full year of use, both Chromebooks are still running smoothly with no slowdowns. Battery life is excellent and lasts through the entire school day. The build quality feels solid, the touchscreen works very well, and the lightweight design makes it easy for kids to carry in their backpacks. Overall, these Chromebooks have proven to be reliable, durable, and perfect for student use. For the price, the value is outstanding. I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them to families looking for an affordable and dependable laptop for their children.

Again I waited awhile to post a review. This was purchased for my 7 year old son for school work. Battery life is exceptional. Price is exceptional and touch screen. Yes there are faster better quality chrome books out there but for the price and our intended use. Well I could not be happier. 5 stars all day.

I bought this in December of 2023 and it still works perfectly.

There is only one USB-c charging port, and the one on mine became defective after about a year- it would not take a charge when plugged in. It got loose and the plug stopped seating correctly to take the charge. UPDATE: I had bought two of these for my twins. Both of them have now failed- the charging port will not connect to charge. Buy the warranty.
