I wanted to wait until I've used these poles for a while before reviewing, I've had them since October and have been on some pretty long steep hikes and they have held up extremely well. I have another set that is a great bargain (Cascade ones from Costco) that are probably the best inexpensive poles you can get (around $30), but if you want to spend a tad more, I would recommend these. The Canway feel lighter than the Cascade ones (both my boyfriend and I agree on that, he uses the Cascade ones primarily), and the camera mount on these come in handy. We've been able to take photos at summits together when we are alone. Also, the wrist bands on these feel silky on my wrists,the Cascade ones are thicker and feel a little rough. It might not seem like a big deal, but when you've hikes 15-20 miles and are tired, you don't want anything to irritate you. I've abused these poles, fallen on them, dropped them, thrown them, and they still look brand new. Not a scratch on it, just some dirt 🙂. Highly recommended!

I haven't used extensively yet but these are light, feel good in my hands and the locking mechanisms seem to be designed very well to be adjustable but hold securely.These trekking poles are super strong yet super light weight. Was worth passing up some cheaper models to get one of the best out there.
