Fun toy, eventually ripped
This toy was a big hit with all of my kids. It did eventually rip, but it is a Splat Monkey and not a Torture Monkey - so not shocking that it didn't hold up to the stresses that kids eventually came up with. RIP, Splat Monkey. We'll remember the good times.

This toy is pretty fun to use. You can throw it as hard as you want and it's indestructible. It splats and then returns to it's original shape. It feels like it's full of rice and it's nice to squeeze it too. I think it's made of silicone. My son loves it. It helps him release his frustration in a non-harmful way.

Didn't last 2 days
Top of the head is supposed to keep the sand in, but after only one day of playing, my 12 year-old brought it to me with the rubber "stopper" already detached from the top of its head. No way to keep it on or keep the sand inside. He takes pretty good care of his toys and spent his own money on it, so he was very disappointed. I was too.
