Ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color Mint by Ion

I only put the dye on about 1/4 of my hair. It looks great, except the roots are a little odd looking, like a darker green than the rest of it, but I think that was just because the bleach I used before it didn't get the roots well enough. My only issue is that the tube doesn't really have a lot of dye in it. That 1/4 of my hair took the whole tube. So, if you have thick or long hair, you probably want to buy more than one if you plan on dying your whole head. I kept mine on for the whole 40 minutes, and it turned out almost exactly how I wanted. I haven't washed my hair yet so idk if it fades or not. Overall great product, works as expected, turned out great!

I purchased the Mint Semi-Permanent hair dye from Ion, and I am very pleased with the product! Other customer reviews for this hair dye say that it does not end up looking like the color on the box - however, after bleaching, toning, and dyeing, my hair is a nice, pastel mint color. I would recommend toning your hair before applying the dye, as the toner will remove all the brassy tones from your hair and allow the dye to stay true to the color advertised. HOWEVER, I purchased one tube of this dye and it was barely enough to cover my head, and I have a short, cropped haircut. I highly recommend purchasing at least two tubes, however long your hair is.

I really love the mint color! Plus the dye smelled like candy. I haven't washed my hair yet so I don't know about it's durability but you might want to buy two tubes of color. I only bought one and had to stretch it to cover my shoulder length hair. I don't have thick hair either so you might want to double up if you do.

This is one of the most beautiful pastels I’ve ever dyed my hair with. I’ve always done bright jewel tones and decided to give pastels a shot. I found that most of them started off nice but faded quickly. This one lasts longer and fades slowly and looks gorgeous at all stages with no greying like most pastels. Photos show how it looks under indoor/outdoor lighting.

Pros: Color was even and not too bright(closer to pastel like I wanted) Cons: It was more blue than I expected.
