First off, anyone advocating the ignoring of reviews based on whether or not the reviewer 'isn't able to put on a yoyo string' clearly hasn't considered that this yoyo is marketed towards kids and beginners (among others) who funnily enough may not 'know how to use a yoyo'. Yes, there are instructions included in how to put everything together, but this is still hardly the kind of yoyo that a complete beginner could take out of the box and begin using straight away so should not be approached as such.To be honest I'm not even sure why this is supposed to be a bad thing (or even where those reviews are, I certainly can't see any at time of writing): everyone has to learn somewhere; conversely, although this yoyo needs a little experience or at least patience to get set up and going, it's still comes across as pretty well-built and professional. The plastic of the main body is sturdy and colourful, certainly eye-catching; the addition of extra bearing, strings, tools etc. allows for a large degree of customisability that is nice to see at this price point. For a young child or someone just wanting a simple yoyo they can pick up and just start playing around with, this is not that yoyo; for someone wanting to invest a little more time in learning more advanced tricks however, it's worth a look.

Sometime back I got my partner an unresponsive yoyo which was on offer to review. He loved yoyo-ing in his youth and desperately wanted to take it up again. He was very pleased but did struggle to get on with the unresponsive yoyo, so when this responsive one came up I couldn’t resist getting it to add to his collection. If the unresponsive one didn’t work at all for him, this one is almost too responsive. It bounces up and down like a rubber ball! I believe based on our experience that yoyos have become significantly more sophisticated since my youth, but while my partner tackles the learning curve, I can say that this is a nice set for £14.99 at time of review. It comes nicely boxed with a neoprene carrying case, 12 strings, tools, and a bearing that allows you to change this yoyo to make it unresponsive, all told enough for all sorts of customising options to suit your preferences. The yoyo itself is pink and orange plastic and feels well made. Would be great for a young person who is just learning (and will no doubt master it much more quickly than my partner is!) as it comes with everything you need to get started, and for a reasonable price too.

A great yoyo for kids and beginners!! Got this for my 8-year-old nephew who has recently taken an interest in yoyoing.The yoyo comes with an extra unresponsive yoyo bearing, 12 yoyo strings, a removal tool, an axle, and a yo-yo bag, which is handy to store everything together. The bearings are easy to remove, and the replacement strings are particularly handy. Especially as we had to replace 3 in three days. So, they may not be the strongest, saying that the one we have now has lasted longer. The strings can be replaced easily and quickly. My nephew can do it himself after showing him how.The yoyo runs smoothly and is very responsive.Overall, it's a great yoyo for beginners!!

I've not been using Yoyo's for too long but on the limited research I've done MagicYoYo seem to be one of the main brands out there for getting great quality yoyo sets for a great price that doesn't skimp on quality.I love that in many of their sets they offer the 2 separate bearings so that you can easily swap from responsive to unresponsive and back. It's also nice that they have tonnes of spare strings so that you can replace them on the fly once they inevitably snap.The case provided is nice and offers plenty of room for the accessories and I think this plastic style of the K2 makes this my favourite Yo-Yo yet. I've had metal before but something about these plastic ones just feels soo much nicer.Would wholeheartedly recommend sticking with Magic Yo Yo and using YoYoTricks.com to learn how to do all the cool tricks you could want! 5/5

This yoyo is a really good one for getting started with! We’ve had unresponsive ones in the past, and they are so frustrating, this type is so much easier when you just want to get going with the basics.Great that it has all the accessories too, and it generally just looks really cool! Would make a great gift, I would say for teens and younger (7 upwards really) but to be honest my husband is the one spending the most time with it, so great for adults too!Recommended.

Priced at £14.99 for this yo-yo is quite expensive in myopinion, however lots of extra bits are included for the price. This is good quality and works very well - bought back lots of childhood memories 😏lots of fun & easy to use. Would recommend 👌🏼

Great vibrant looking yoyo, it comes with 6 different coloured strings (2 of each colour so 12 in total) and a storage pouch, you also get a spare bearing and the relevant tools required to replace the bearing which is a nice touch.The yoyo brings back some amazing childhood memories of the old coca-cola of the 80's.A great toy or gift to any child (or adult)
