VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE:S4 (DVD/S) [2013]

Loved this season with all the twist and turns and can only imagine that season 5 gonna blow us out the window. Its a whole new ball game now the origonals will be coming into force so really excited about the start of a new chapter. I still hope caroline and Klaus get together as much as I adore tyler but I think a love twist with caroline fighting her feelings for both would be an extra bonus. The Stephan and damon scenario with delena its going to be interesting to see how it developes after how season 5 ended on a cliffhanger not wishing to spoil it for those who haven,t seen it yet !!!. Jeremy and bonnie are my ideal couple to say the least even if not got it together as a couple yet and fictionally dead so door is always open for surprises she is an awesome witch and Jeremy one hunk of a hunter. If not seen it yet buy and be amazed I would love to the writer and author of this series to keep ahead whats going on as season 5 not started viewing in uk yet unless you have skytv which I don,t so need to wait on freeview catching up.

I've always been a huge fan of the Vampire Diaries, and when I saw that Elena was becoming a vampire at the end of the last season, I was a little skeptical of how this season would work. I admit, it has to be the best season yet! I don't think the cast of The Vampire Diaries get enough credit for their acting... Nina Dobrev especially who has to portray (particularly in this season) all the different versions of Elena, as well as her doppelganger Katherine, and make sure that both characters are still unique! I found myself on the edge of my seat at the end of each episode, unable to wait to see the next one... you can imagine my disappointment when I ran out of episodes to watch. Cannot wait to start watching the next season!

More intense emotion as the troubled love triangle enters a turbulent new phase. Now a vampire, Elena is in freefall, out of control. Brothers Stefan and Damon unite (much of the time anyway) in their frantic bid to track down THE CURE. Meanwhile fresh threats abound from old enemies and at least one formidable new foe. Well done, all, who coped with every twist! Ages ago I gave up fully trying to understand (relieved when, in an earlier season bonus, key members of the cast openly admitted they had lost track). As ever, it is simply a case of sitting back and enjoying the ride, as the charismatic leads press onwards amidst spectacular special effects. Extra confusion reigns with so much coming back from the dead, some characters too much alike, ancient Silas able to adopt the guise of anybody else. Meanwhile Nina Dobrey continues impressively to double up as Elena and Katherine, scenes where they are together a veritable tour de force. Absurdities abound. Who would have it otherwise! Best not to question. They simply do not seem to matter amidst all that is going on. Seeking primarily to entertain fans of the genre, the series does exactly that. (A reservation, though, over incidents showing Elena at her worst - attacks on innocent people trying to help her just plain nasty, a step too far.) By the way, a word of praise for easily overlooked nice, loyal Matt - he still a human, which is pretty good going in Mystic Falls. 23 episodes. Interesting bonuses include details of how Jeremy acquired his tattoos and how Nina Dobrey managed to cope with this season's extra challenges. The box set contains helpful episode summaries and a list of the main cast, this information always appreciated. Roll on, Season 4, with yet more sizzling passion, menace and shocks guaranteed to make the mind whirl!

Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries hits like an emotional freight train driven by existential dread and eyeliner. Elena’s now a vampire (spoiler alert if you’ve been living under a werewolf), and honestly? Her journey is basically a dramatic metaphor for teen mood swings. So if you’re wondering why your daughter went from sunshine to doom in 0.2 seconds… blame Mystic Falls. Everything is intense. Feelings are intense. Neck biting is intense. I can no longer tell if I’m watching a vampire show or a full-blown therapy session with fangs. Meanwhile, Damon is somehow both toxic and irresistible (the eternal struggle), Stefan is going through it again, and Klaus is out here doing villainous monologues while painting like an angsty Renaissance prince. We’ve got sire bonds, ancient cures, emotional breakdowns, and plot twists that feel personally targeted. The drama is so dense I’m considering issuing mood rings to everyone in my household for safety. Still, I can’t stop watching. 4 stars for the high-stakes storytelling, wild twists, and the fact that Klaus continues to speak like he’s been reading poetry alone in a crypt for 400 years. Respect

Ich kann nicht aufhören zuzusehen, könnte die gesamte Staffel auf einmal ansehen! Witzig, tragisch, amüsant. Ich liebe es! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Génial. Arrivé en parfait état. Tout fonctionne bien. En plus, 2 fois moins cher que sur le site de la Fnac !!! Par contre pas de version francaise pour ceux qui ne gère pas trop l'anglais.
