This Buddha statue is beautiful. Overall, it's a light color, somewhere between an exquisitely aged bronze or weathered stone. For me, it's just as pictured and makes an impressive presentation. The size and weight are just as described. Perfect for tabletop or an altar, but it may not be suitable for outdoor use and no, it's definitely not plastic as others have said. I'm serenely happy.

It is delicate but what would you expect. As for looks/asthetics. It brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. I have it on a small shelve and it brings a sense of calm and tranquility to the room, to me. I am very pleased at its authenticity to stone Buddha's I have witnessed. A Gem of a find!

Buddha shape is lovely, but disliked the pale-gray color of the statue so decided to return & reorder. Hoping to receive a bronze-colored Buddha as is depicted in ty he online photos. Received the return authorization quickly & set it aside. Replacement Buddha received in 2 days, it's a greenish-gray color. Of the 2 statues, the original in the pale-gray color looks better. (Will update review with a photo comparison shortly.)***Update***Life happened, the 30-day return time flew by & it's now too late to return the Buddhas (my bad), so we will be keeping both Budhas. One will be in the garden, the other will be in my studio/office.

I was expecting the Buddha to be a bit larger and heavier. We have ha d storms that have blown it across my yard.
