This was just incredible. Chloe Walsh had me crying tears of joy, happiness and heart break. I can’t express how deeply emotive her writing is and how powerful it is to make me feel every single emotion.Please ensure you check the Trigger Warnings before you read 🩷Johnny Kavanagh needs to be wrapped up under my Christmas Tree this year or I’m having words with Santa. I’m not kidding this boy was something else. He went through so much and yet still showed excellent character development. I am utterly in love with every relationship this boy has, I love reading characters with personality and Chloe Walsh has clearly poured her heart and soul into every single one. I especially loved reading his interactions with the Team.Gibsie needs to also be under my tree this year. That boy had me HOWLING with laughter so hard that I definitely looked crazy while reading this in public. Every time he opened his mouth there was a 90% chance it would end in laughter. This is just testament to Walsh’s incredible writing. I am REALLY excited to see more of him and learn more about his story in the next books (the teasers on Chloe’s Instagram are killing me).Shannon, like the river. Will hold a special place in my heart. I could not imagine going through everything that she has and coming out the other side stronger than ever. I get emotional thinking about her and how far her character came in only 2 books. She is such a beautiful soul and matched with Johnny perfectly. I am so pleased that this book worked out the way it did for her and that she found her happiness.Joey was a heartbreaking character to watch and I’m glad that he ended up where he did. I hope he gets his own story with Aoife as they both deserve the world.Claire, Lizzie, Hughie, Feely, Katie, Sean, Ollie and of course Tadhg are also all amazing characters who added to the story excellently but If I start writing paragraphs about every character we’ll be here forever. I’m really hoping that they all get their own stories and happily ever afters as every single one of the deserve it.It’s fair to say I am immensely looking forward to the rest of this series and am loving the way that Chloe Walsh writes.

End of a brilliant duo of books! This book has it all teenage love, laughs and cries! Beautiful work and beautifully written!

Loved this book, very emotional.Shannon and her brothers have had such a hard life, you feel every ounce of pain for them.Johnny really is their knight in rugby shorts.As well as the awful angst in this book there is also alot of laugh out loud moments, the banter between shannon, johnny and their friends especially Gibsie are hilarious aswell as the awkward sexy moments and talks with johnnys parents, howling.There is also alot more of Shannons younger brothers in this book and they have very different hilarious characters Tadgh the sarcastic mouthy kid, Ollie the sweeteer of the 2 and Baby Sean.I couldnt pick a favourite but it seems pretty much everyone in the book has a favourite at some point.Cant wait for more books in this series and would also love something a decade or so ahead to see how they're all doing and if relationships last.

The way I cried she this book ended. Honestly I could have a 1000 more pages of Johnny & Shannon and it still wouldn’t be enough. How everything came together in the end was everything 😭 For all the sad in this book I also laughed so much, I love the many different relationships between characters, Shannon’s brothers killed me every time. I absolutely loved seeing the growth in Shannon from the beginning on B13 to the end of this one. This duet will forever be a top favourite of mine now and I looking forward to the rest of the series. Please read this duet if you haven’t yet.

These books have me in a chokehold. I’ve finished two in a week and played the playlist on repeat! So good! What a talented author!

God this is a long book. That's not to say it's without its merits. I loved it, but it is a big time investment. An emotional read, this story continues Johnny and Shannon's rollercoaster and it has all the twists and turns needed to hold one's attention. It even made me cry and there's only a few books that have ever done that to me. I was sad to learn the next book is not about gibsie and Claire but I'm fully prepared to wait for them while I dig in to joey's perspective next! Ms Walsh you are clearing out my bank account but I have no regrets about that! Great writing!

omfg my whole heart. this series is just everything and more, it’s so much more than just a romance book—although the relationship between shannon and johnny just completely melted me. i’m absolutely obsessed with them both and this series, it’s become one of my favourites! it’s so beautifully written and achingly heartbreaking but in the best kind of way. all the emotions and more, you go from literally wanted to cry your eyes out in one chapter for them to screaming and smiling because of how sweet they are. i love how pure and whole their love is, what i would give to have johnny kavanagh love me the way he loves shannon!! this series definitely holds a special place in my heart, these characters hold a special place in my heart and i’m so excited to read saving & redeeming 6. joey lynch and aoife malloy i’m coming for you!! if i could give more than 5 stars i would. the perfect amount of angst, banter, romance and plot, i’m obsessed with all the characters stg.

This is one of the best books I’ve read. One minute I’m laughing the next I’m crying. So beautifully written. Johnny and Shannon forever, oh and obviously Gibsie to.

This whole series is excellent. The writing, the plot, the everything. It's just amazing. I loved all all the characters with my whole heart.

The Boys of Tommen series is nothing I could ever anticipate, for months (and still) kinda ruined every other book for me because nothing came close to the gut-wrenching, emotional, thrilling story told on this book. I LOVE Shannon and Johnny, I love everything about them, I love the dual pov so we can see both their thought process, honestly I could write an essay about how this series turned me into a zombie for days where I only existed with my kindle on my hands, but bottom line, thank you to the author for bringing this story to the world - I'm from Brazil and I never travelled outside my country, but this book transported me to Ireland and back to 2005, when things were simpler. Thank you Chloe, for the journey, I can't wait to read more (I just finished Taming 7).

I know this story is about Jonathan Robert and Shannon Maud 😂 but the star that manages to bring a smile on the heavy topic is Gerard Gibson... Gussie.I loved Johnny and Shannon's story. I fell for them in book one. Chloe walsh kept it within the grade school but yet it wasn't kiddish. I'm not mad that there was hardly any smut... honestly it didn't need it. Without it and I still enjoyed every freaking page forgoing sleep and adultingI feel like I was there without having the detailed scenery.My heart is Gussies though. He's a weirdo with no filter, a great friend with a good heart. I'm sure he and Claire will be grand. Although in book one I didn't care too much about her, she was a great friend to Shannon and the love of Gibsie but I didn't feel too much towards. This book though Claire is the sun she had a moment to really shine and now I'm impatiently waiting for their story.The side character I didn't care too much about was Katie. She was just there no character, personality, just written. Which is weird cause even though Feely was one of the quiet ones... he gave me pause and thought 🤔 hmmm there's a story there. I recommend this series, this author, this story and snag friends like this. I want Dellies and Jhins book! That's how much I love this series and their characters. Each was different with their own battles their own demons but they sucked you in. Not many authors could do that! The way this story is written is so many chefs kiss. Absolute Genius!There were Grammer issues but that didn't stop me from reading this beautiful story, I just fixed it for Chloe while I continued to read .....On to Saving 6..... oh and hey Johnny is an a complete alpha but he's not a douche. Best of both worlds.
