Being 6 foot 4 and naturally quite skinny, I’ve always struggled to put on weight. I have a very active job as well which doesn’t help. I’ve used this product for just over one week and have put on 5 kilos in that time, using two shakes a day, one late afternoon and one after the gym. Taste is excellent, the chocolate peanut butter and cookies and cream are fantastic just with water. The only draw back for me is the size of the scoops. Difficult to mix and pour into a standard 700ml protein mixer. However I bought a 1 litre one and it’s now not a problem. Overall this is the best protein powder I’ve ever had. Taste, weight gain and price.

I'm a skinny guy who's always fluctuated around 58-60kg. After 4 days of use I am already at 62.3kg. Some advice with this product is to not use a full serving. It's way too much for someone small trying to gain weight. Instead you should do a half serving (1 scoop and 300ml of milk) twice a day. This stops you getting the stomach problems that others have mentioned. It doesn't mix very well. You need a strong blender or a tornado shaker. Manual shaking just ends up with a huge clump of mushy powder. Taste is okay. I went for chocolate peanut butter and it's not exactly tasty, but it's not bad either. I usually drink it quickly so taste isn't a big thing for me, as long as it's not revolting or super synthetic.

Wanted to gain and it worked. Taste- 4.5/5 I'm not sure if I will ever be fully satisfied with the taste of a protein shake however this does come quite close (peanut butter and chocolate). Comparing this brand to others it definitely has an edge in terms of taste- with water or milk. Product 4.5/5 Comes with a scoop which is usually hidden inside the powder so do search for it! Great for those looking to gain. Not so much to do with the actual product but when delivered some managed to spill out but nothing too major- downside of not coming in a tub. Great product, have been using this for years.

Tastes very good for a protein shake and goes down easily. I mixed it in a manual prommix 1l hand shaker and it turned out pretty good. Just a couple of lumps but it does advise to use a blender which I'm sure would be perfect. The only negative is that they squash the bag into a box which could cause damage to packaging and also the resealer does not work in the slightest so have to fold top and use cellotape. You get around 20,000 calories out of it so price seems fair at around £50.

I have always bought Optimum Nutrition products. I wanted to try this one as this was on sale. However, found the smell very unpleasing eventhoug the taste is not bad.

Nothing special, flavour isn't too good,vwouldn't have guessed it was chocolate and peanut butter. I'll stick to MYPROTEIN much better flavours and drink altogether just a bit expensive unless you catch it on a deal. I find the MYPROTEIN app better for deals then amazon. Thought I'd try these and it'll be my last. To make it taste better I blend it with a banana. Its very thick as it is anyway with the amount of protein in one scoop so I use have for 25gms roughly. It depends if quantity is better then quality for you. I thought so but now after trying it I'd rather quality especially if you drink one everyday around your high protein foods and the gym. The only one thing I like is the high calories in one big scoop. It makes my calorie intake go up if I'm low at the end of the day. I scan my foods with a app called "Nutracheck"so I keep onto of proteins and calories. The app helped get to 200lb around 14stone which I wanted. Lean bulk is better then the Mass powder as I felt bloated. Do what works for you. Everyone is different.

A fast, effective, way to gain weight very quickly. Also tastes nice and has nutritional benefits. Not just for body builders, but helps with weight gain in general.
