The large LCD screen is very easy to read and the water customization scheduling for each zone is a breeze to program. The user manual provides a clear step-by-step process for installation, activation, and zone programming. Programming features include watering start and duration times; frequency in term of hours (1-12) and days (daily, every 2nd or 3rd day). Additional functions include a rain delay mode, and manual watering. I’ve used both automatic and manual modes and both function quite well. Lastly, RainPoint provides a 5 year product warranty. Purchased this timer to replace another from a different company that had developed leaks and ultimately stopped working. The timer arrived promptly, easy to set up, has been working like a dream. This is my third Rainpoint sprinkler timer, only because I have upgraded my system over the last several years. started out with the basic single zone model, then upgraded to the next single zone model. I needed to add sprinkler heads to my system so I purchased this model so I could split the system. This is the only product I would ever use. The timers are super easy to set up and they simply work. I have never had a single problem with any of the three timers. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple but reliable landscaped area sprinkler timer.

I have been using the excellent Rainpoint Sprinkler Timer with a single zone for several years to control the irrigation system I built for my wife’s greenhouse and outside vegetable beds. I purchased the model with the Brass Swivel to ensure it was rugged enough for constant multiyear use. And I must say that the performance of that unit has been outstanding. We use it in the mountains for most of the year and take it inside for the freezing months.After several years we have determined that the watering cycle needs to be significantly different for the outside beds vs the greenhouse due to solar heating and evaporation. Therefore, I was in the market to replace the single zone timer with a dual zone unit.Naturally since we both loved the easy programmability, simplicity, and fantastic reliability of our current Rainpoint single zone timer, we opted to simply purchase the two zone version of the same thing.We loved the fact that we already basically understood how to use the excellent programming system with the easy to use rotating program dial and simple and easy to read buttons. The display is plenty large and clear enough to see even for our older eyes and gives all the info you need.We opted to use the 2 zones separately but you can also use them together if you wish.You can also manually turn on and off either or both zones without disturbing the programming.Overall, we have been completely satisfied with the quality, durability, and performance of the Rainpoint Sprinkler Timer system and highly recommend it.

Timer works great, it is easy to program, and it takes away all the worry about watering especially when you are not home.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This device has 2 outlets, making it more useful from watering my vegetable gardens. It was easy to set up and is working just as it should. You can set up each outlet for a different schedule and watering times. Others I've bought in the past don't allow you to set different schedules; just copies the schedule from one for the other.
