I received this blanket as a gift from my husband for valentines day. We have only had it for a week and use it so much already. It is a nice extra blanket for when one of us is cold at night, and easy to carry around (like back and forth from the couch). It is so soft and has become our cat's favorite blanket in our room, she goes right for it. I rated down one star for light weight because there is a slight heaviness to it that I really like. I have had some blankets where it is so "lightweight" that it is thin and doesn't keep you warm. This one is light, but still a quality blanket. Highly suggest it for an axolotl lover!

It's not a big thick blanket but as far as buying blankets on Amazon this is actually a better quality than I was expecting,it doesn't have a second layer of material on the back/inside of it but it's soft and it's thick enough that it won't rip from a child always carrying it around/wrapped up in it. I am pleased, I know my daughter will love it, we have one or two big thick blankets but for the most part we like our throw blankets to be thin enough we can wrap up in them even in the summer time.

This blanket is soft and cute, but the quality is lacking and it's very thin. I'd expect to see a blanket like this at a Five Below store, not being sold for $30.

Overall it’s great quality and my 8 year old loves it. Although I still think it’s pricey for it’s size, it is the perfect size for an 8 year old.
