I've used one of these for years. After a recent cleaning visit when I had an unusual amount of stain, the hygienist suggested the battery might be weakening - and she was right! I bought a new one and am getting great cleaning again. And the three speeds are a nice improvement over my old one.You can spend a lot more for bells and whistles, but this model 1000 is everything you need for a good price - and you'll get a good lifetime of service out of it.

My older Oral B's switch just got deeper and deeper into the body of the casing and it was hard to turn on and turn off after many attempts. So replaced this newer one for the older one. This one has 3 speeds and could care less about that and only use the high speed setting. Since it's kind of a pain to have to push the on off button 3 times to turn it off but it is not some kind of terrible thing. In hindsight probably should have got the cheaper one with no extra speeds. My old one was I think around 6+ years old and am curious how long this new one will last. TBD. Saying that it works and does a good job and am glad I bought this one off of Amazon.

Bought over six months ago to replace a Quip that died. I came back to review this because I dropped this several times and it still works like it has day 1. Still speedy, fast, it takes care of your teeth on the default setting and has a couple other settings for different situations like sensitive gums. You can't lose the charger because the charger works as a base for the brush, so it's also great to take around with you. Well worth the price of admission and I would buy this again. I can brush for about a week on a full charge at full intensity before the battery indicator starts flashing red, and when it starts flashing red you can still activate the motors but at a lower speed until you give it juice.

Works great so far. I’m very impressed with how well it removes plaque from my teeth and gums and it does feel like a dentist quality cleaning. Another pleasant surprise is that this product is made in Germany instead of the usual China, so I’m expecting that this product will likely last a long time. A helpful tip for anyone looking to purchase this item would be to only have it plugged in when it needs a charge instead of all the time. That may help the battery’s longevity last longer.

The circular action of this toothbrush is so much more effective than the previous just back and forth one. It makes me want to brush longer and hit the spots where tartar can build up more. My only complaint is that it's not very stable lying on its back on the vanity when I'm putting toothpaste on it.

I can definitely tell the difference in how clean my teeth are (and so can my dentist). I would say this is the most I would ever spend on a toothbrush of all things, but it was worth it. I liked that I could change the speed, and I like that it buzzes every 30 seconds so I move on to a new quadrant of my mouth. I wish it would pause and maintain the timer, but that's a small thing. The brush head is smaller, so you'll have to probably replace it more often than you're used to with a larger brush.

Last purchased in 2022. The battery life is shortening, now 1 week between charges. My previous toothbrush was a rotadent... The battery lasted 10 years, I shocked the company by requesting a new one using the lifetime warranty. Rotadent honored it, however my dentist pointed out that the cleaning action is substandard. Spinning is not capable of cleaning all surfaces. Enter the Oral-B. Don't let anybody fool you that battery lifetime is 2 years, it's a matter of design and quality control.
