Columbia Men's Ski Trousers, Bugaboo Omni-Heat, Nylon

I needed to purchase Skiing trousers quickly, as I was taking on lessons, and was not in the mood to spend anything above the 50-70£ bracket. I have seen one of the reviews branding this as poor quality and hence decided to write my own, after taking a chance on it.Now true, I only used it twice, however I think maybe the other review got defective trousers as I am seeing a good quality apparel which suits intermediate skiing needs, maybe not of the highest intensity, but definitely your everyday skiing trip. Disclaimer: if I see that this is indeed wrong, I shall come back to edit.The material is as described, the black could be seen as intense navy under some lighting (but not outdoors). It hasn't got too many storage places (2 side pockets), which is okay if you have enough with your skiing jacket, but might deter others.The lower leggings around the ankle have the regular snow guards/skirt (see picture), I am a size UK 12 (US 13) shoe and the trousers in Large manages to grip my ski boot without an issue. The interior is made with that aluminium-thermal reflective technology, and that along with a thermal long legged underpants actually made me sweat in a -2 Celsius degrees environment.To sum it up if you need a mid class, good brand skiing bottom, and you are not planning on snowboarding through many 'black' slopes, then this is definitely a good choice.You can see the actual pictures to get a grasp of how these trousers looks in real life.In terms of sizing, I am 187cm (6 foot 3'') and Large fits me well, I am 13.1 stones, and it is a bit loose but doesn't fall especially with a thermal underpants. recommended.

Ankle Fabric got ripped on the first day of skiing. Unbeliavably bad quality probably defective stiching totally suprised as it is Colombia!!!
