Works on shorthaired moggys.
I have yet to try this on my semi long haired moggy, however, it works perfectly on my shorthaired gang (4 short haired and one semi long hair). It also works well on my wirey Patterdale x. I have had a furminator in the past, and this works just as well on my short haired ones as the Furminator did.I think people are expecting cats to stop shedding so much after one brush, unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. The more frequently you groom them, the less they will shed. This isn't an immediate thing, it happens gradually over time. You can't brush a cat once a month and expect less fur. In order to see more results, you do need to be dedicated to frequent brushing.

Absolutely 💯 does its job well.
This is absolutely amazing 👏. We have a small dog and at this time of year its hair loss is out if control, we have bought all sorts over the years but out of them all thus is by far the best we have used. The fine hair just slips out using this brush. We will never be without this again. It will last a long time too so great value for money and easy enough for my 6 year old to use well.

Brilliant tool for getting out the undercoat :)
Absolutely brilliant ! I bought this yesterday as my cat has such short thick fur and even though we brush her daily it isn’t getting the under coat of fur off. This tool works wonders for taking out the undercoat of fur. The amount of fur I got off of her today was the size of a small football. I would buy it again and great value for the price ! Very happy customer .

Doesn't really work as well as others
It didn't work as well as the other one I have. Not sure how it failed to pick up the loose hair. Had to return.

Not for puppies
I'm not sure if it's for puppies, to be honest... I bought it for 13wks cocker... sadly it didn't do the job at all... my puppy is shedding a lot (baby hair) and this does not work on it at all.Sadly had to buy another one to see if it will work better.Not saying it is a bad product just saying it didn't work on my puppies sadly.

Works well
It works pretty well to remove shedding hairs although sadly my munchkin hates the brushing experience.Well built and sturdy, comfortable to hold in a small and a big hand.The teeth of the comb are not very deep so you need to keep cleaning it after every few strokes. The comb is detachable but the combs are not sold separately (at least I couldn't find them separately!) so it doesn't add a lot of functionality.

Favourite brush so far
My Cat hates brush time! This made it a little easier as it picks up hair really well. Easy to remove the hair and clean the brush

Works great on my short haired cat
I don't normally write reviews but I need to with this as I feel it's good value for money. I brought this as I point blank refuse to spend £20 plus on a furminator for a brush, found this yesterday it arrived today, I've just used it for 2 minutes and this is the result!!! my cat don't like being brushed so she's gone to sulk somewhere :) but I am happy with what it's removed so far. she is a short haired cat hope this helps others looking.
