Perfectly capable, great interface, easy to set up
After buying 6 different "Android Auto / Apple Carplay screens" to fit into my 2012 Volt and finding none of them performed to my expectations (my other car is a 2021 Mazda 3, with factory Android Auto, so my expectations were to match that; stupid me, I know. How dare I have high hopes for a product category). I ended up returning all of them and instead, tried a few devices that'd receive bluetooth audio from my phone, and transmit it to the car via an audio cable while powering through a simple USB port.I attempted to get my hands on one of those Anker Roav devices with Google Assistant, but I simply couldn't find any at a reasonable price (are those discontinued? I remember hearing about those a few years ago and though it'd be a good addition to my car if my vehicle didn't have a built-in solution; like my current 2012 volt; but, couldn't find any similar products anymore). So, fine, this one doesn't let me call up the assistant and ask to send a whatsapp message hands-free, but audio quality is great, microphone is good as well; and the addition of physical, pressable buttons for play/pause, rw and ff are an absolute must for me.If there was one thing I'd change, it'd be the colorful light ring around the whole thing. I get the use of a power light, but I'd much rather have a cleaner status led somewhere to keep a simple look in my car, rather than a multi-colored static light that's always on.All in all, I would totally buy this product again and recommend it to anyone with similar needs to mine. A simple, high quality way of adding physical controls and bluetooth audio RX to your car or home stereo.

THE BEST OPTION, MUCH BETTER THAN COMSOON RECEIVER!!!
The Joyroom receiver works perfectly to make your car a bluetooth radio, it automatically turns on and off with car and pairs almost instantly. The Comsoon one doesn’t do that, it repeatedly randomly connects to your phone and you have to manually turn it on and off every time you use it (not to mention how dumb the buttons are on it). I couldn’t praise this product more highly. The only thing I will say is the audio mix of the music is a little bass heavy. I would just adjust it via your car speaker settings and you’ll be all set. Other than that, the buttons are intuitive, it even has little mood lights on it to bring the vibes (you can turn them off of course, these people think of everything). I don’t usually write reviews but this thing has made my life so much better. After fighting with that dumb Comsoon receiver for so long, this has upgraded my older car to a “legit” bluetooth radio. 10/10 on yelp, would recommend to a friend.

Value for the cash
It works well, it connects automatically, the battery has never faltered since it stays plugged into the cigarette lighter, the value is right on par for the money. The reason I give 4 stars is because the sound quality is noticeably different from a standard 3.5mm aux chord.

Great buy
This thing works great. The sound is crystal clear. My only "issue" is that if your power port is always on it times out eventually. Of course it not draining your battery 24/7 isn't really a bad thing. Just unplug it and plug it back in and it powers right back up. If you've got a phone from one of the stupid manufactures that don't think anyone wants a 3.5mm port, this is a great option if your car doesn't support Bluetooth audio.

Great attachment for older model cars.
Easy to set up and use. Allows for keeping your tunes in one place (phone). Also works well for receiving calls - it does require one hand to click to answer calls. I have not tried it in conjunction with "hey google - call....." so I can't speak to that.

Sounds good, connects reliably, mics are trash
I bought two of these to replace a couple of other Amazon BT receivers for car that have gotten old and unreliable. I was looking forward to the implementation of the newer BT version, as anything I've gotten with v5+ has been more reliable and stable connecting. It works well in that respect. I've put this in my car first (don't want to tick off the wife). It does connect reliably, and the sound quality is solid. One beef is that its output is not quite as hot as my previous one; I have to turn the volume up on my stereo, but not a big deal. The main complaint I have regard the microphones. They made a big deal about it having two mics and supposedly handling road noise better... NOPE. If I'm sitting still they're just fine. But introduce just a little road noise, even with all the windows fully up, then it becomes intelligible to the person on the other end of the call. I had really hoped that this was going to deliver, as I have a couple of other Joyroom devices that have been great, but this one just does not for phone calls. If all you need is a BT receiver to go into your car's AUX input, this is great! The control surface is responsive; all the buttons do what they're supposed to with a satisfying feel. It picks up and ends calls well. Play, pause, skip, and volume control all work as expected (which is better than my old, different branded one).Now... one last thought: I'm docking this two stars because the phone functionality is a big part of what they pitch, and why I bought it. However, it did only cost me $15 per unit! Am I dissatisfied enough to return it? No! It does what it is supposed to do, and most of it very well; there is just this one place where it needs improvement.
