Totally scent free (which is great) very light/weighless. Not greasy. Absorbs almost instantly. Doesn’t break me out at all. I have nothing bad to say about it. I have been using it during the summer months, so only time will tell how it holds up for fall/winter

This review is for “Burt's Bees Daily Gel Cream, Skin Balancing Face Moisturizer”. I like that this gel moisturizer is a little more moisturizing than other gel moisturizers I’ve tried. It’s unscented and applies easily. It absorbs in a minute or two and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. The pump dispenser is working well now but I’d rather have a tube because sometimes it’s difficult to get all of the product using a pump. The price point is not too high but there’s only 1.8 ounces of moisturizer included. I didn’t know what squalane is before I ordered this moisturizer. I looked it up and now I’m wondering if this is a cruelty-free version or if it comes from shark liver. I couldn’t find the answer on Burt’s Bees website. I’d like to think it’s the cruelty-free version given the company’s reputation. “Leaping Bunny Certified” means the product wasn’t tested on animals (a good thing) but I don’t know if it means the product is cruelty-free. I won’t order this product again until I know. If the squalane comes from sharks, I'll lower my rating since I expect better from Burt's Bees.

Light weight, non-greasy moisturizer with a soft, floral fragrance. Leaves my skin looking and feeling moisturized and naturally glowing. I’ve used Burt’s Bees facial products for many years and I am often complemented on my skin by professional cosmeticians. I highly recommend this product.

This would be perfect for someone with an oily type skin. However if you are like me, normal to dry, you'll be left wanting something with more of a hyaluronic acid feel. I do love that the ingredients are pure and natural. I suppose if you put a couple pumps in hand and added a few drops of hyaluronic acid in with the formula it would work pretty well. However I would like something that I don't have to do anything to. Like elf holy hydration.
