I was super excited to get this game! I have been working on naming feelings with my little kids. This game is a great fun way to help my kids to better understand and express their emotions. The cards are colorful and the pictures really help my kids understand and differentiate between emotions. The stories are cute and relatable for my little kids. Highly recommend. Another great product from Spark Innovations!

I am a homeschool educator for other students, but I also homeschool my 3.5 year-old. I tend towards the Montessori approach with students learning hands-on through the real thing rather than relying on games. However, this is a unique set, and I would recommend it. My daughter thinks the bears are adorable, and the story cards are at a level she can understand, although not always relate to, but it is really easy to adapt them if you want. The story cards also put the main character bear as a he in some cards and a she in other cards, so it will relate to girls and boys. The game allows for great interaction between parents and children, because it helps you personally understand how your child might feel in different circumstances, but it also helps you teach them how to label other emotions. I do wish there were some other cards included for different emotions, such as unsure (there is a confused card), tired, and compassionate to help them pinpoint emotions more but overall it is a great set.

I got these bear emotion stories for my three-year-old daughter. There are instructions for using these cards, as well as a card naming each bear emotion. It is a great activity, and I think it helps my daughter better understand her own emotions. The pictures are high quality and the story scenarios interesting and appropriate for kids. This set of cards from Sparkling Innovations has a great value for the price and I would recommend it to a friend!
