The third time I went out with it on my bag it paid for itself. I recovered five golf balls and not even out of water but on a very steep bank covered in nettles and brambles.

I prefer the basket type but have got used to this one now. As with all of them, they usually pay for themselves within a few weeks.

The ball holder is far to loose and it is very difficult to pick up balls - particularly out of water on mud and in bushes. The tightening rings also don’t work very well. Expected a better constructed product with Colin Montgomery endorsement. Others I’ve owned at similar price are far better.
