Works great on my Kitchenaid without the price. It is much more affordable. It fits perfectly on my mixer and the coating is great. I have a silver attachment and it gets gross and grey and I have to clean it really really well for it to not put grey color in my dough.

We had an uncoated plain dough hook for a while, but it used to leave dark marks on our hands, towels, and dough. So I got a coated one, and no problems. It's also way easier to wash after using it.

Works great with my stand mixer. I have been looking for a replacement for my original which was lost in a recent move. This produce came Exactly as described.

First off, it took me forever to figure out the size of my mixer cause the model # was never included in any of the compatible models. No review would ever talk about exactly which one they had. I have the traditional red bowl lift model KG25H3XER, 475 watt. That makes it the 5qt. This is the exact fit for this model. Its purposely about 3/4 of an inch shorter then the bottom which is for optimal dough making so youre good on that. Second, the only bad reviews I saw complained that they couldn't lock the head down because its to long. This is only for the bowl lift, it has the handle that raises and lowers the bowl. This is not for the head tilt version. It has good weight and feels like a strong metal. Its esthetically nice to look at as well. I haven't used it yet but can tell it will do the job fine because i used to make my own dough at my pizza place and the design is the same concept as a commercial mixer. I'm writing this review, prior to use, because I felt like I spent forever trying to figure out if this was compatible for my model and want to save someone else the headache. This should also help people when they want to get the paddle for cookies or a new wisk. Hope this was helpful.

This is a must if you have the older model and specially make dough for bread. with old one dough climbs up and go around with this one it kneads the way it should. quality looks good and it looks the same quality as factory parts.

I used this for the fist time and the length is too long for my mixer. this is supposed to be for KitchenAid mixers, but it is too long and will not let the lock mechanism on the mixer engage. Needs to be about 1/4" shorter. I would not recommend this product.
