Great product but the foam rods are too large to stay seated in the bell of a puppy ear. The rods are sturdy enough to stand without the use of a support added in. White tape included is SUPER strong and pulled out some hair beware not to go over any skin or hair with the tape.

This product works!! And the whole process is made to be dummy proof when it comes to simply posting a dogs ear. Some reviews talk about the post being too long, but common sense should tell you to cut the post to your desired length. If your dog is the type to try and kick off the post put a cone on them simple fix. I do recommend this instead of trying to make time to return the pup to the vet so they can post the ears.

All of these items can be purchased separately, but the kit is a great all-in-one stop for the essentials. I trimmed the backers with scissors to fit and they work great.

Man these destroyed my dog’s ears and he had to get put on antibiotics for two weeks and a cone on his head for a month while we corrected the posts! There’s are better ones out there without the tape.
