Alot smaller than expected but that could be my fault. It did it's job and can't complain about the price. Beats out Lowes all day!!!

These hinges are NOT 2", they are 1 3/4". other than that, they seem to be fairly sturdy hinges. I like the fact, and the only reason I'm keeping and using them, is they are three screw hinges, and not just two screws. They work for what I'm using them for as feeder tops, but if your making furniture, or cabinet hinges, you may want to notice the actual size .

You get what you pay for, should have known better

I tried to determine if these hinges and screws are stainless steel or not:I tried the scratch test:• Hinges PASS• Screws PASS (but not a good test, hard to secure due to size)I tried the chip test:• Hinges PASS• Screws Fail/IndeterminateI tried the visual color test:• Hinges PASS• Screws FAILI did the magnet test:• Hinges PASS (they are slightly magnetic)• Screws FAIL (they are strongly magnetic)I did not do the muriatic acid, spark, or weight test due to their difficulty. The magnet test does not tell me much, since stainless steel can have many levels of magnetism (my stainless steel pans are lightly magnetic, my stainless steel hood/fan, bike spokes, appliances are strongly magnetic). The chip test was just too hard due to the surface area being too small to easily see correctly. I am basically just going on the visual test. I am not an engineer, I am just a typical consumer so my tests are not binding, lol. I just did the best I could.I like these hinges due to their size. I need to reinforce my existing hinges on my plywood platform I created for a bed frame in my RV (see photos). And as you can see I need very flat hinges. I do not have a use for stainless steel in this situation.

I've been searching for a while for a source of affordable, bulk hinges for a large scale fixed wing project I've been working on.These should fit my needs quite well, as I need something beefy enough to attach some rather excessively large control surfaces.On to the good stuff...The hinges seem to be quite well made, with minimal to no slop along the pin.The screws are nothing special, of course. Generic self-tappers,with a currently unknown thread pitch.The finish appears to be legitimate, which is nice too.They seem to be able to carry the load I've put on them so far, so I'd say they're definitely worth recommending.These would look quite nice when attached to cabinet doors, or other furniture as well.
