These are my go-to disposable surgical caps. I like the fact that they are disposable, and they don’t look silly on guys with bigger heads, which is a big plus for me.

These work fine. I run hot in the OR and miss the paper caps of past .... cloth caps just too hot! There is a trick to open these. Along the bottom edge is the tie string which needs to be separate from the cap. One side has about an inch not perforated. Separate from the tie and leave it attached. Finger the remaining inch of the tie to separate the inside half’s of the cap and it will open up.... a bit like opening one of those 4 sided perforated envelopes that becomes a card!

I just received these the other day and have yet to use them. Just an FYI, they are tricky to take apart. I thought I had ripped the first one I took out of the bag given the tear followed a seam. Apparently, that is what is supposed to happen in order to make the ties available.
