Dinosaurs in the Supermarket: A brilliantly fun picture book filled with DINOSAURS!: 1

My son is 5 and loves this book. He particularly likes finding all the hiding dinosaurs in the illustrations (which are great - colourful and fun). One for any young readers who like dinosaurs!

Utterly brilliant book. Such a fun story that I'm happy to read to my kids (over and over and over and over....!) It rhymes and is funny. My 18m old daughter loves it - it's in her top 3 books. We originally got it from the library but she was sad when we had to take it back. Definitely worth purchasing for keeps!

My three year old loved it from the first reading. He enjoyed finding the dinosaurs hiding amongst the food stuffs in the pictures. The rhymes meant the he learnt the story really quickly and could join in reading it. Also for the Parents there is a breakdown of how to pronounce all the dinosaurs names-which I found especially useful. All in all great story with great pictures

I had never come across Timothy Knapman's picture books before. What a joy to find him! When shopping with his mum, the boy sees dinosaurs everywhere but they very cleverly hide from the grown-ups of course. After they have destroyed the supermarket with their play and antics, they're finally persuaded to help in the big clean-up. Simply brilliant rhyming text and the detailed, bright illustrations are perfect. On each page my son looks to spot each dinosaur as they do their best to hide. I'd recommend it for both boys and girls of 3yrs upwards and just can't wait for its inevitable sequel.

This book was an absolute joy, funny, beautifully illustrated, with the type of humour that would especially appeal to small boys. I bought this book for 2 small boys, typical energetic, mischievous, happy go lucky children, and I am sure they will enjoy it. I did , made me giggle, and I am a mature lady..😊

Bought for my grandson He is 4 years old and gets very excited tracing the dinosaurs in this story He loves helping grandad to find the hidden Dinosaurs. Very well written.

Great book! Love the story, love the pictures. My dinosaur obsessed three year old loves the book. It’s a great story to read to him now and I know, a couple of years down the line he’ll enjoy it again when he’s learning how to read himself

My boys love this book. I give it as gifts and take it to parent reading days at school. Always a hit. Also teaches names of many dinosaurs with images inside front cover.

My kids love everything "dinosaur" so they loved this book a lot. Would definitely recommend this book to everyone. :)
