I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Ingrid Klimke conveys her ideas about training clearly and, in doing so, her love and respect for these beautiful animals shines through. Comments made while discussing her training, even like, outside shoulder forward on the circle, have got me thinking and riding more deliberately, softly and effectively, just...like..that. And my horse thanks me. Thank you Ingrid Klimke, for sharing your life and love, with, and of, horses, with us.

This book was a long time coming and it is really quite good. If you ever wanted to know more about her approach to training or how she varies her training to meet her horses individual needs this book will tell you! I had to re-read it several times because its dens which I appreciate. Too often horse training books are too vague but there is lots of detail in this one,

The book has great photos and stories. She has a wonderful system for starting the young horses so that they can go to the career their best suited for. Not much on ground work or backing, she starts after that.

Great book for an aspiring Olympian. My daughter is reading it as part of the Dressage Youth Festival Requirement and is reading it again! Arrived quickly. Price was much better than other sites!

I highly respect and admire her as a person and a horsewoman, but this book seems thrown together without a central purpose. I have a few highlighted thoughts in it and I enjoyed seeing some of her programs, so it is not a waste.

Ingrid Klimke (as Tom Roberts did some years ago) explains 'not how to do it with the horse' but how to have the right feeling to think about ' how to explain it to the horse' in a very analytical way and at the same time in a very simple way.

Great book; loads of photos and lots of good, sounds advice from an expert in all horsemanship!! Fast delivery!!
